Just wondering if someone can tell me. Do come into play effects from the first bunch of effects go on the stack first? Aka against Swans if you warp and get a needle can you lock out seismic before it comes in?
Well that sounds good to me.... too much midrange and a T5 kill seems pretty strong. Is anyone using the build with Ad Nauseum or is that version just worse?
So assuming I can get the mana to work do you find yourself consistently either Cascading into the swans or casting them and an assault or is the randomness a little much? I just worry that this deck would have trouble winning a whole PTQ.
This is exactly what I have been looking for... Just wow.... I do have a question though. Lets flesh out our gameplan against 5CC as I think I need a better understanding of the matchups.. I am playing this on Saturday for sure.. Pretty much cant lose to the entire top 8 of both PTQ's listed. How is our matchup against Lark? Glen Elendra kinda owns us eh?
Reminds me of another deck I was working on pride but its nice to see you made it much much better. Have you thought about MB the Aneth's in the main deck. They will pretty much kill 5CC on there own.
I really like this deck idea so dont take that as a negative. Also you could consider springjack pasture and mistveil plains. The springjack makes white goats that lets you activate mistveil even if your opponent is trying to deck you with denial on your white permanents.
I figure that this list has an amazing matchup against most of the field and I might be able to get to 50/50 against blightning/RDW. I really like the howling mines strictly because against Bant, Kith, Boat Brew and other aggro or mid range they really help you chain out your fogs. The other board style I was considering was a turbo combo board which cut boomerang ponder and howling mine for 12 UUUUU Spells that would allow us to race mono red.
G3: He mulls to 5 and is never even in it. 2 Walls of Reverence put me at a ridiculous life total prompting him to overcommit to where martial kills him.
1-0
Round 2 Chapin aggro 1868 Total Rating Player
G1: Turn 4 Wrath on the play kills all his non pain mana production and he kills himself before recovering.
G2: He doesnt draw any hand disruption until T5 which is too late as Wrath and Ajani V go the distance
2-0
Round 3 5CC Not sure on rating but hes 15-0 with the deck this month at constructed tournies
G1: He gets the worst mana screw ever. He has orchards so I have to not play my springjack pastures as my mutavault goes the distance.
G2: Long drawn out game involving me casting Ajani 7 times and having 2 Scepters in play downing his reflecting pools. Ajani eventually goes Ultimate and I win.
The deck is really solid but if I played it again the list would look like this.
I really liked the look of your deck... I am just wondering if mb you could explain the sideboarding strats so I can test it a little bit more.
Thanks
Chris
