So i have my little creature in play and I play angelic destiny in response my opponent doom blades the creature. does angelic destiny go back to my hand? Does it just fizzle out or whatever you call it.
I have a mirran crusader, which has protection from black, in play and my opponent plays black suns zenith. Neither one of us are sure if my crusader is affected. He thinks the card is affected and I do not think it is.
I dont know why i never thought of crucible of worlds, i think ill try it out. I had mox diamond in the deck for a few games, but I always just held on to it for metalworker.
If you can generate enough mana, you could even consider an emrakul, the aeons torn as a win condition to go with metalworker+staff of domination. Other than that, I can't really suggest much as I don't see what you're really trying to do. I see insane amounts of mana accel, but no good way to take advantage of it. I don't know if you're combo or control. which is it?
I think im gonna go with banefire for my wincon. If i can get together 15 mana im sure my opponent will be, at that time, to 14 life or less.
I built this deck yesterday and Ive been playing it alot on MWS. It does pretty dam good considering the most expensive card in the deck is 2 city of traitors. It beats consistently against most aggro, because of the speed i can get out cards. I can usually get metalworker or lodestone golem out first turn, or even tangle wire if i dont have what i need yet.
I was thinking academy ruinsmight be a good additing, but i don't have any other blue cards.
The problem is that welder and metalworkerare too vulnerable, one little burn spell and there goes my fun. The mutavaults and factories are pretty good against those first annyoying creatures, and swinging when theres nothing to block.
This is by no means a "budget" build, it just turns out I can smash on decks that cost 10X as much involuntarily.
um... guru islands go for 40+ dollars a piece, and I don't think they are shiny (but I could be mistaken)... Honestly I prefer snow-covered lands over the unhinged or guru lands but that is just me.
Ya i know they're expensice as hell, worth more for their weight then gold. Alot og the "but it nows" on ebay are $50-$70+. I would rather spend my money on something useful, but thats just me.
Thats is freakin crazy. $14 bucks for a stinkin land! I dont see why someone would pay that much money to have a shiny piece of parer in their pile of paper. I guess if you dont have anything else going on in your life you buy $14 lands lol.
They prebably sell cheaper then that, most retailers charg near twice what people would actually pay on ebay.
WARNING: Unfortunately, placing value judgments on why someone would pay for a shiny piece of "PAPER" is not really relevant. In fact, many people pay between 500-1000 or more on not-shiny paper and many don't feel that is crazy. Next time, you can leave that part of your post out.
What about the price of Japanese and Korean Saga versions? Do standard players even care about this sort of pimp?
Cardboard is not "pimp", not even if its shiny. A pink 1964 Impala on 22" rims is pimp. They will probably go up, because everyon likes to have foreign cards in their deck for some reason.
Heh, funny that this poll comes up a day after a bunch of friends and I do a complete and total bear survival research (I'm moving to grizzly country). 1 man can take down a bear if he has the following items.
S&W 500
Bear Spray (It's quite literally a special pepper spray for bears)
Good reflexes
Calm under pressure
Good aim.
If you have the steel nerves to shoot the world's most powerfun handgun at a grizzly, you're doing something right, but do realize that once a bear gets moving, once you kill it, unless you've gotten a clean headshot, it can keep charging for up to 10 seconds before dropping dead, so you best hope you've either shot enough rounds into it to ground it or get in a good head shot. Usually if you spray a bear with e BPS it will turn tail and run. Some one on one of the hunting forums suggested just dropping a flashbang and decking the ground.
However everyone is really missing the more dangerous predator. Wherever there are bears, there are mountain lions, and let me tell ya folks, mountain lions are hell of a lot scarier. A bear is big, noticeable, and doesn't often go after humans. Mountain lions are extremely agile and dead quite when they're stalking prey. Meaning that you don't know you're ****ed until it's on top of you I'd much rather go up against a bear then a mountain lion.
I dont see how you could assume a mountain lion is more deadly then a bear. A large mountain lion weighs 120-150lbs. Thats less then me. A large grizzly can weigh 1200 lbs. Thats like 8 times my weight. If i came into contact with a litte mountain I'd put that overgrown ***** cat in a sleeper hold and break its neck.
I would rather take on 2 and a half mountain lions then one bear.
The thing is with climbing the tree, i weigh 160lbs and i grizzly weighs 1000+lbs. A smaller branch way up in a tree can hold me but not a bear. The branches below me would break and the bear would fall.
I can climb a tree pretty fast, I used to live in the boonies when I was young and there wasnt much to do. Multiply that by holey crap theres a bear behind me and I'd be in the top of that tree before the bear was on the first branch.
I dont think there is any way any number of men could kill a grizzly bear. First off its a freaking grizzly bear, have you ever been close to a grizzly bear? There is nothing a person could do to even hurt a sleeping bear. Maybe just maybe one man could kill a grizzly. If he climbed high enough into a tree and the bear followed him, the bear could fall. This could result in a dead grizzly.
There is a problem though, grizzlys dont often climb trees. It would probably just wait for you at the bottom. If the bear did wait at the bottom, i suppose you could climb high enough and jump. This would be suicide bombing the bear and could possibly kill him.
