I am really interested in making a deck primarily based around Mirror-sigil Sergeant wins. Why? Because I like the card The deck must be UW obviously, and I'm thinking bant as it brings extra creature tutoring. The first question is what general to use. I'm thinking Ragnar to help keep my first Sergeant alive.
Both give infinite tokens and +1/+1 counters. The first gives infinite colored mana, whereas the latter gives infinite colorless. Throw in a Triskelion for a hasty win, or swing with some peeps and if one connects pump him until he's lethal.
(I see in u-579's thread he marks these as not producing all three (tokens, mana, counters) but they do :))
LOOP A: 1, remove counter: put 2 saprolings into play
tap both: add 2 to your mana pool 1, sacrifice a saproling: put 2 counters on Ghave (or another creature)
Net: +1 counter (you still have 1 in your pool to repeat with)
LOOP B: 1, remove a counter: put 2 saprolings into play
and
tap both saprolings: add 2
net: 1 (you still have your invested 1 as well)
Since you can change between loops A and B (produce counters or mana and tokens) at will, you therefore have infinite mana, tokens, and counters
There are so many other combos in the deck though... its a bit ridiculous
some others:
I use Asceticism to protect him. You can also run Eladamri, Lord of Leaves. Though, he has a lot of built in protection against damage and -x/-x cards because of his ability. Also, playing elves you can usually recast him right away no matter how many times he's died. For totem armors I think Bear Umbra and Snake Umbra are shoe-ins.
A WB Knight
A WUMistform Ultimus / Mirror Entity / changeling
A legendary Mirror-Sigil Sergeant (with a different clone condition, or maybe just give it a cheap U ability) with "doesn't die to the legendary rule" =D (I can dream, right? lol)
I run mono-G elves and the key is to try not overextending. Good cards to help with wipes are Cauldron of Souls and Fresh Meat. Only thing that sucks with fresh meat is it gives beasties... but at least they start at 3/3? Fecundity also helps replace your hand, but it'll probably fill an opponents or two during the wipe
We play purelythematic decks (more below)
No direct damage, i.e you don't Fireball someone.
No mass land destruction. (Right now we are testing and made basic land indestructable, so you can play f.e. Armageddon.)
No infinite loops/combo.
No shroud nor protection.
No mass hand destruction.
Most of the last abilities of Planeswalkers we don't play.
We don't have an exact number set, but in general we don't play many counterspells , say around 3 maybe 4/5 in a deck, so no 18 cs ...
I'm not sure why you even play the game, to be honest... not trying to dog on ya but what's the point of playing if you get rid of half the game? That's like playing basketball where you can't block shots. A game full of free throws seems pretty lame to me.
We allow 1 free mulligan. That's about it as far as house rules go... we're pretty laid back though. Will let people undo things when they make stupid mistakes, etc.
Would a morph subtheme be too much?

Why would you ever cut doubling season from this deck? Its an all star.
opponent: "I will Rend Flesh your Ezuri."
me: "In response I'll dump 25 mana and give all my guys +15/+15 and trample"
Otherwise Rhys is kind of fun to build around
A WU Mistform Ultimus / Mirror Entity / changeling
A legendary Mirror-Sigil Sergeant (with a different clone condition, or maybe just give it a cheap U ability) with "doesn't die to the legendary rule" =D (I can dream, right? lol)

and my personal favorite is:
Earthcraft + Squirrel Nest
Followed by
Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker + Lightning Crafter
though the last one technically requires three cards (last one being a sac outlet), there are a bunch it functions with.
Also Power Artifact + Basalt Monolith/Grim Monolith
Some combos that do something infinitely but require another card to make it mean anything are:
Phyrexian Metamorph + Leonin Relic-Warder
Sharuum the Hegemon + Sculpting Steel/Phyrexian Metamorph
