flames is deffinitly the best choice avaliable to you for life gain prevention. stigma lasher is taking up a 2 drop spot, and he has to hit. by that time the finks may allready be down. And as far as everlasting torment, the deck is called THRILLING zoo, meaning he is hoping his thrills can get him that extra distance against burn. with everlasting tourment out, burn makes his creature tiny with -1/-1 counters. it's clunky but flames is the best you can ask for right now.

btw, super ding grats on reaching prestige class father :>

excellent article as allways andrew. was wondering, if you do but the blue in, would you be against just going ahead and making it domain zoo (adding a black source)?

without the peeks, it seems to me there is really no reason to keep the skyfisher. sure you can bounce a bushwaker, but if you have that kind of mana they have probably allready set up a board to block or you missed your alpha strike. the only thing it bounces is a basic land, and that just won't cut it against jund

i like the idea of the hookmaster, but an idea i have been thinking for rush decks like boros is Safe Passage, because it would let you attack even b4 your board was alpha ready, and when they block you get to take down their board, next turn just walk right in. probably not the best idea but i thought it might be worth considering

first of all, congrats on gettin' back in the game. second, this article was a real nail bitter, i felt like i was right there with you in the matches, even though they were the "abridged" version. third, what the heck? "behind you, lol jk"?

hey Andrew, it's nick, i've been playing a jund aggro build very similar to yours, i actually took your idea for hellspark/thrinax. i have also noticed the consistancy of getting tons of R/B and missing the G. i have been thinking about droping green to a splash color, making the leech a little less consitant, and turning bloods into a finisher, or if you want to take out green all together, changing the bloods to bit-blasts. i think that the m10 lands just make it a little to hard to go 3 color, and 2 color might be what we have to rely on to get a consistant curve.

But maybe i'm just crazy :>

    really, Bowser?
also, do you think that the loss of Xth, regardless of what M10 has, will affect the meta?

Glad you decided to kick the faeries habit in favor of something a little bit less, well, FAERIES. the only comment i have is that it looks remarkably simmilar to your old merfolk deck, the only new thing i saw was the meddling mage. on another note, b/w tokens has, well, black and white tokens, making it really hard for wake thrasher to be sygged through without being chumped. might wanna try more whammers.
P.S. i like the new name for the sledge, I might start using it

Liked the article Andrew, would have like to know if fae/5cc got anything, but the blightning and NotRed aggro updates were very enlightening, cya at the towers:D

It seems to me as i was reading it, it really didn't fix do a whole lot to the deck by adding red. you can tap out and kill the player with a banefire, or just clique and kill them the next turn. And Fallouts, allong with wiping out all of Bitterblossom's hard work, seem to be putting you at dangerously low life totals, and with no way to stop someone else's banefire/fallout, you might be looking at being burned to death. I know when i play my naya deck against conway ( still not good enough to be playing you :>) i will sometimes Lash Out his tokens because of his dangerously low life.

for your first time in a PT, i would say you performed exceptionally well. better luck next time and don't let conway get you down:D
