I had a GW enchantress deck for a while that did a lot of similar things as your deck. I found Creeping Renaissance to be a worthwhile addition. Paying the flashback cost after it's milled to Oath in longer games is not actually unreasonable.

Have you tried Solitary Confinement? Thoughts?

Regarding the Skittles deck, has anyone tested Ratchet Bomb and/or Powder Keg? While they technically have the ability to remove problem cards like Ensnaring Bridge and Runed Halo in the case of Ratchet Bomb, are they just too slow?

Is the slot that Oblivion Stone once occupied really more valuable than having even a 1-outer to these 2 cards?

I'm thinking of building this deck with paper cards, so I haven't been able to do any testing at all, so I thought I'd get some opinions.

Fist of Suns gives your spells an alternative cost. Playing your general additional times is an additional cost. From rule 409.1f

The player determines the total cost of the spell or ability. Usually this is just the mana cost (for spells) or activation cost (for abilities). Some cards list additional or alternative costs in their text. Some effects may increase or reduce the cost to pay, or may provide other alternative costs. Costs may include paying mana, tapping permanents, sacrificing permanents, discarding cards, and so on. The total cost is the mana cost, activation cost, or alternative cost (as determined in rule 409.1b), plus all additional costs and cost increases, and minus all cost reductions. If the mana component of the total cost is reduced to nothing by cost reduction effects, it is considered to be {0}. It can't be reduced to less than {0}. Once the total cost is determined, it becomes "locked in." If effects would change the total cost after this time, they have no effect.

we can see that you choose the additional cost of WUBRG, then add any additional costs, like the 2 to replay the general.

I'm not a fan of the Braids ban. Braids doesn't break the format. It did help define it. I'm not sure I agree that forcing decks to run some instant speed creature removal is ban-worthy. The fact that the people in charge of edh think so makes me worry about its future. Banning generals because people don't like playing against them is an extremely slippery slope.
