Cursed Scroll is an easy card to underestimate. It keeps doing what it has always done here. Being awesome in some situations, being mediocre in others. But it is a 1CC card that can sometimes take over the game. This is pretty rare. It's main roll here is the long game reach for aggro and also a part of our Burn achetype.

I have doubted Scroll multiple times these last years, but then I put it in a deck and it just wins me games.

Here it often functions as a second Rofellos. Which is pretty good in our book. Apart from that, it is a usual toolbox card.

It is definetely not for every deck, but decks with Rofellos or other key cards can use this.

The not communicating part is very unfortunate. It is a problem that has plagued a lot of hobby-projects-turned-serious on Kickstarter as well. Almost always the big majority of people is very understanding and forgiving. We all know the real world gets complicated. Programming or producing a product is hard work and you often hit road blocks especially when you are alone or understaffed.

But just tell people! Don't end up crying in a corner as you will always end up with some demanding people screaming at you for lying. Just communicate and be honest. After a while your time and money eating fun project, will be rightly viewed as a scam, just because people don't know what is happening. The world is full of scams, so people get too negative when left in the dark.

The thing you have to remember is that it costs 1 mana to play! Is it the best token produceder around? No, but it only cost one mana to cast!

And the mix of abilities means it does a lot more in practice then just pumping out 1/1's . It protects them from control magic effects, it makes a flying army in a stalemate, it stops lifelink,...

We are giving her a test run. So far she has been pretty good (deck with Fastbond). More feedback when we get more plays under our belt.

For now in addition, but we are looking how this plays out. Could be that all of them might be too many.

Brain Freeze is too good to cut though. It kills very quick with some regrowth effects. Tendrils works fine with both the Tower and Reservoir, so we hope we don't have to make a choice Wink

If anything it is more playable in unpowered. I don't see what Moxen and Lotus make of a difference for a card like this?

Zephyr, I think you have misread our list? We do not run Jeskai Ascendancy.

This card has been impressive. It ability is relevant and a 6/5 snipes planeswalkers like there is no tomorrow.

Same as Vizzerdrix I think Emissary of Grudges will be in our cube for a while.

Has played very good so far! The cheaper casting cost has been used (in both directions, as an attacker and in defence), it has been reanimated (tutored for being the fastest clock with entomb) and even plain hardcasted.

12/12 tramplers are nothing to laugh about.

I would first try to make room for Purphoros, God of the Forge. I thought he was pretty cool when he was released, but eventually put him on the bench because I didn't have enough support. I think nowadays he can represent tremendous damage, is really flexible, and doesn't mind if your dudes die along the way. Burn at the Stake is a little too restrictive IMO.

Purphoros has been a huge succes in our cube. One of the top red picks.

What propably helps a bit is that we draft Rochester, which means that our decks are a bit more streamlined compared to normal booster drafted cube decks.

Now we have two Rabblemasters, Najeeli and Hanweir Battailo, Pia and Siege-Gang is anybody else tempted to try this out? I have a feeling we are neering the point where we reach the critical mass needed.

That would be too suicidal most of the time. I would be very sceptical to slot that maindeck. I would side it in against slower decks maybe.

Dark Ritual is always main decked here.It never dissapoints, if you accept the draw back that it might suck late game. It mailny gets pickey by black based aggro decks (1 drop and Sink Hole?) and storm. But a lot of decks are happy to see it come. Nothing wrong with accelarating into a 4, 5 or 6 drop two turns too soon.

Dark Ritual will never leave our Cube and I don't say this out of some nostalgia about the golden days of Necro-decks in Constructed.
