With Manga mafia coming to an end, the next person in line is Cubus, who is on vacation until 8/9. Given the number of games that have/are about to start up (a basic, a normal, and a mini, I believe), it might be best if we just wait for him to return to stagger the participation a bit, albeit only ten days.
I contacted both Zchinque and Phayt, but neither have responded to my pm's in 17 days. I'm not sure precisely how to go about this, and ill wait for the council to make a statement, but figured this would speed things up.
unless my search missed it, i don't see anyhwere who all has access to the mafiascribe acount, just as a curiosity
It's not a terribly public thing. Im not even sure im allowed to say ;). Suffice to say, the council / people who do maintenance work for the council (which is... me...) have access.

Edit: @ Roja & Ace : Added the replacement history of players from Newb #29 & Basic #3 to the Listing.
in avoding posting about an ongoing game, to much, someone with blacklisting/probation powers probabally should take a look at page ten of basic 5
Jedcaj has already been blacklisted, and will remain that way unless EP chooses otherwise. The level of disrespect and blatant game ruining by said player is unacceptable.
A couple comments about the new replacement system:
1) It should be its own thread, or at least in the replacement request thread. This keeps it easily accessible to everyone, always on top of the page, etc.
2) It should be posted by the MafiaScribe so that others can edit it in the case of StormBlind's absence (or simply to ease the workload).
3) Player Name, Type, Reason, Game, and Date
The date is important for many reasons, first being to see if it is a recurring problem or one time incident (especially if across multiple games). If someone consistently needs replacements during the school year or over certain vacations, perhaps they should be advised not to join any games starting around then. Secondly, if someone has dropped out of 3 games, but that was two years ago, perhaps they can get another chance, especially if they have played a few games since.
For the time being, I've linked to the new post in the probation spoiler, within the hosting thread. We've got plenty of stickies already, so I think that should be sufficient.
Official Post: Activity Monitor of All Players on MTGS.
Sample Issue.
Bob - Total Replacements: 5. Willing Replacements: Game A (School load) October 2009, B (School Load) October 2009, X (Loss of Internet) October 2009, Y (Family Emergency) December 2009. Forceful Replacement: Game YHG (Lack of Activty after 3 prods) January 2010.
EDIT: Forgot to post my experience. Though, since my experience hosting games is '0', one could argue that I did post my experience. But yeah, this would be my first time hosting a game. Gotta start somewhere.
Experience = playing experience as well. Clarified that in the initial post.
I asked if I could sign up for the basic queue, especially now that the game is in its final night.
It's simpler to not re-list people until their games are all the way over, as opposed to almost being over, if only because different people are going to have different opinions as to what constitutes being "almost" over.
Done.
Abbeygargoyle and WellofLostGnomes are next in line, but both have been inactive for several months.
Niv is after them, but he too appears to have been inactive for more than a month.
Sending PMs to all three now. If none have responded within 48 hours, then AlphaInsidious would be up.

Thank you though.

As you can see, I definitely like #2.
3 is definitely a good idea also.
