Feb 3, 2014Meyou posted a message on Launch Giveaway!A tie between Utopia Tree and Urza's Rage . They were the first rares that I opened from the booster packs my wife gave while in the hospital. It doesn't hurt they have some great artwork. They will always have a soft spot in my heart.Posted in: Announcements

I haven't tested a whole lot against red decks wins or red/white a whole lot. Been busy working on stuff for next week's article. In anycase, that is what Bloodbraid Elf and Captured Sunlight are there for in the mean time. Bloodbraid isn't for attacking. It is there to stand in front of some creature and chump block kamikazi style. Oh, and he has cascade. Captured Sunlight gains four life and zips the deck towards 6 mana.
I never really minded hitting a Trapmaker's Snare. I was running four originally. It only sucks late game when I have gotten all my traps. Besides, I have three snares compared to 12 acceleraters. The odds are I will hit mana acceleration. It is a much bigger deal not finding the Summoning Trap.
24 land is not too much. If I don't hit my land drops against something aggro like Jund, I am dead. You would be amazed how quickly the library gets thinned anyway. Two Kalni Heart Expeditions and two Harrows will pull 8 land out of the library. In Playtesting, it occurred on numerous occasions were I was hardcasting Progenitus. Heck, I was casting Bogardan Hellkite a few times on turn 5.
I stand corrected.
I was thinking Qwest for Ancient Secrets for any turbo fog/mill decks. It can sit there and I can sacrifice it at will. Thought Hemmorage crossed my mind for any control decks or Jund running it in their sideboard. Thought Hemmorage their Thought Hemmorage was the idea. Beyond that, I am not really sure.
Just haven't tested with her. I figure most would stumble onto the power of that conclusion. The unfortunate part is it can still get terminated or pathed after it is in play.
Darn you Nak3dSeamus. Being lethally curious, I clicked it. I hope this message is typed correctly now that I am blind for life. Terd. Ya really shouldn't be promoting your favorite website like this. Little kids could be clicking and some poor kid is now scarred for life.
Moving on, thanks for all the comments ya'll.
Yes, F is Fairies.
The idea is definetely to play the trap.
Spreadsheet, maybe.
I agree with the majority of all the comments. Honestly, I will like to touch up on some of the issues brought up or to my attention in another article. I'll try hitting it all next week.
Interesting, first time I will have an article based on a previous one.
Don't like it, feel free to comment.
Like it, ditto.
The pics are in a box, somewhere, around my place, still to be unpacked, in an unidentified envelope. Finding it could have taken hours and hours with time not on my side. I'll try dragging them out one of these days. It was also the time when using ancient technology of film. Otherwise, it would have been in there.
I usually don't have problems making friends or should I say acquaintices. The time thing is what hinders me most. Work 7 days a week basically come mid-summer till sometime November. Basically, I am just not around enough.
There is more theory. Just scratching the surface. We talked about trends and all sort of things. One of the more interesting aspects is how the U.S. in particular is becoming more polarized. In essence, Red states (Republican) are becoming more red and Blue states (democratic) are becoming more blue. Unlike the past, people of common interests are flocking together more. Possibly, less tolerance for one another and the other aspect is society is just much more mobile than it used to be. Why hang around people you don't like when a person can move away from them?
