well, Nicol is smart and can probably manipulate emrakul toward a plane to trap it.
emrakul feeds on mana, and since yawgmoth is a manifestation of black mana he'd eat yawgy
And since yawgy is the god of messing up lives he'd kill nicol

    That got somewhere quick right?

    Quote from jvlin
I'm considering playing with a mint condition mox ruby.

    Don't.
That's a collector's item. You'd earn the ire of just about everybody you played against with that, and it's never good to make people mad. It also depreciates in value as you play it more and that makes your investment depreciate.
It's been double sleeved in kmc perfect fits and kmc standard sleeves.

    Doesn't matter, keep it safe.
If I shuffle and play carefully with it, will the edges/sides still get worn?

Yes, it will be more gradual and may take a while, but all things wear.

With a sigh of relief I've once again came to MTGSalvation to learn more about the game I love and to enjoy the community I called home for a while.
Hopefully sally is just as happy about this as I am.

  • posted a message on Is 4chan building an emotionally detached generation?
I don't see what the issue is with 4chan, it's one of the most benign sites you can go to. While it did have a reputation for a while, there isn't a single thing that has ever happened to me that i could consider malicious. Most of the time it's 14-16 year olds trying to be edgy or cool. There are a few great boards, but most of them are idiotic or porn. It's a wonderful place for weeaboos, and that's what it was created for. If you really feel like it creates something that isn't present in every generation, you aren't old enough to comment on the generation. I know a few kids that are 5-6 years younger than me that pretend like it's an interesting site, but most of the interesting things are happening on budding sites that get less than 100k views.
    To sum up the boards
/a/ - Decent, you'll still see topics degenerate into troll wars for days, but it gets a few great threads.
    /b/ - nah, just . . . nah
/v/ - good for laughs, but has the lowest IQ bar none.
/tg/ - best board? best board
    /vp/ -fur, fur everywhere
    /k/ - alright, pretty interesting
    /co/ - one of my top 4
    /r9k/ - worst. board. ever.

any other ones are porn, boring, or too weeaboo for me.

Yes, throughout the album and the song there is synth.
It exists any time the initial riff exists, and there are some nice moments where it adds countermelody.
    Enjoy it.

Is anybody attending The Rally to Restore Sanity?
If you are it'd be nice to have a little get together and meet people here.
Maybe just some EDH multiplayer casual fun?

I don't mind some furries, fursuits confuse me, and the more extreme fetishes concern me. Beyond that, no issues.

You guys think even oldwalker Bolas couldn't beat Yawgie?
I think Bolas's greatest strength pre-mending was his mental capacity, and his preference of outsmarting his opponents rather than overpowering them. is it possible that he could use one of his lawn-drawn out schemes to weaken Phyrexia from within and attack Yawg at his weakest? just wondering.

It took Nine Oldwalkers, the legacy, a couple of millenia, dominaria and timeline manipulation to beat yawgy. Needless to say, Bolas wasn't interested, and he was around.

See, I don't see the point in ripping new players. I traded some 14 year old my BSA for his Leyline of the Void, not because I expected equal value, but because I wanted him to stay in the game. I play mostly eternal formats so BSA isn't on my list of things to worry about. He also was building a UW control deck so I figure he could get it up and running sooner, he'd have a better competitive chance that way.
He did alright at FNM last week, feels good man. My deck is almost done, oface.gif

Most likely some sort of vithian perversion. Grixis used to be vith, or at least part of it. The living remnants are probably vithian.

Couldn't you be at 2 life, while your opponent is at 0 with a Platinum Angel in play, the char to lose and win when states are checked? You have 0 life, your opponent had 0 and now has lost due to PA being dead. Or does char not deal the damage simultaneously?

Negligence is no excuse. If your parents have trouble keeping everything sorted out they should probably seek the assistance of a financial advisor. If they don't pay the $75 a year, then they'd better be prepared to pay out the ass in the event a fire actually occurs. Part of being a financially responsible adult is preparing for the worst.

And assuming the reserve funds can't run out is evidently logical. Rolleyes

Your situation isn't relevant because you aren't the house owner, your parents are. And if $75 a year is too much for them to scrap up, then they have much bigger problems.

That would be the reason I pay rent. Not all jobs and income is static, most people get slammed having the scrape up 400 here and there for random repairs or car trouble. I know my parents would not have paid the fee because until last month they would have been unable to find the amount with more important bills being presented. As part of the income of my family at the moment I don't see your logic, ☺☺☺☺ happens and you miss things occasionally. Optional payments aren't a priority, even if they could be great to have.

I have two words for this post: tough ☺☺☺☺. If you have a house and can't afford to pay $75 a year, you shouldn't have a house.

This statement is just wrong. Most people call it tight budgeting, or tough times, or ☺☺☺☺ circumstances. Sometimes that brand of psuedo-logic is applicable, but in this instance it is not. Since the payment is probably not a "lol whenever, brah" kind of payment, people WILL miss it, and people WILL have to avoid it sometimes. I work part time to support myself and $75 is nigh punitive for me. Given my monthly rent is about 300 and gas is around 100 the simple task of food cuts me short or in the red about every other week. My parents use that rent money to cover basic needs for them, and whatever is needed. Our 3 income home (my mother teaches, dad works at a factory and is a student, I work 32 at a gas station and commute to school) may lack heat this year because of certain circumstances. Add in our current car trouble and my rent may go up to 350 to insure I don't freeze to death.
While $75 may seem paltry and trivial it is a very large amount of work for some individuals.
