Some assumptions that could be made given the DFC cards use an individual sheet as in PLC:
- There are 15 non-DFC mythics and 53 non-DFC rares, assuming only 1 sheet is used, the map should be really neat with 2 copies of each rares and 1 copies of each mythics in the whole sheet (2x53 + 15 = 121)
- Given that someone open 2 Tree of Redemption in 1 box and the previous point being true, there are 2 tracks and Tree of Redemption is most likely in the middle of the map where it has the highest possibility of both tracks to intersect
So what happens if my opponent activates tree and in response I act of aggression it? Does the 'you' part considers the person that activated the ability or the current controller as the ability resolves (me)?
I know how they generate sales of packs, I've been in this game a long time. I'm thinking that to generate sales of M12, all they have to do is reprint Mind Sculptor and put in Gideon Jura. The Titans are still quite good, and Primeval is going to have a long life in Extended, particularly if it's reprinted. Standard alone, does not always drive sales.
I think you're wrong about Titans being unable to generate interest in M12. Personally, I don't have a playset of any but Sun Titan, and I'd be buying packs of M11 if I could find any.
Agree with they could drive up the sales by reprinting JtMS, and it could also lower the entry barrier for ext. next year. But for the sake of T2 I hope they don't do it since it once again creates the scenario of which most blue decks will need to have 4 of him, and not having baby jace makes jace war rather like a coin flip
They've been reprinting the Lorwyn 5 for how long now?
and they are not what you're looking for when u buy M11 packs. U buy M11 looking for the Titans which are new cards in M11.
Try only printing 5 new mythics in M12 in which by right only 1 or 2 are good enough to demand a more than average price. That's not a core set price value, that's ROE price value and we all know not to open ROE packs since buying singles is just more time n money saving
Have they ever said there will be a 50:50 new/reprint ratio within rarities?
Never say never.
Now that u mention it..... Yeah, that's a sure way to drive the M12 sales down. Reprint most of the mythic rares and make 3/4 of new rares which will flood the market in 2 weeks.
its just about keeping the ratio of new cards to reprint roughly 50:50
If titan cycle is reprinted there's only room for 5 new cards. So no to the titans

T1 - T6 : Land removal/blockers
T7 onwards : Drop a bomb, if removed drop another 1.
Seems a good plan to me....
