Have this opportunity.... Not sure how strong I feel about it. Anyone care to weigh in?

I feel Jace, Architect is a great card positioned for the standard meta-game. He is anti-early beats, and reliable midgame cardadvantage. He essentially gains you card advantage or life, if they choose to focus damage to him. Figure its a safe buy at 20$
fake. try bending the top of the card to touch the bottom. If it bends without creases, then the card is real. This can be done to any real card without causing any damage whatsoever to it.
Definitely not an eraser. Nothing abrasive looked like it ever rubbed against the bottom of the card. The same gloss and finish is observed and it reflects uniformly at a tilt
Shame the thing isnt in NM condition, but ahh well at least I have my first Confidant now
Scooped up this from a personal collection of a guy that lived near me for 30$. Anyone have any idea what the value of this Dark Confidant is worth? The card is in pretty beat up shape, as you can hopefully see from the high res pics.
I have this trade going with an owner of a local card shop. I am trying to trade up to an Unlimited TimeTwister. Let me know what you think of this trade.
My Pile:
3 Baneslayer Angel 11th
1 Sword of War and Peace
1 Elspeth Tirel
1 Venser the Sojourner
1 Sun Titan
1 Garruk Primal Hunter
1 Snapcaster Mage
$130 cash.
His Pile:
1 Unlimited Timetwister 6/10 condition. Whitening on back, slightly dirty on front. No folds tears or major damage.
Viridian Emissary is bad... doesnt ramp until the Opponent lets you ramp (4th or 5th turn). Gets vapor snagged, o ringed.. Overall bad 2 drop compared to sphere or Rampant.
We both mulliganed to 6 first game. I barely ran out of 'gain life' gas, and he snuck through enough damage to bring me to 3 life on 5th turn or so. Then he gut shot me, and snapped it back flashing back for total of 2 damage, then vapor snagged me. ><
2nd game against Illusions I was forced to mulligan to 6 once more because of no lands in a 26 land deck. Then throughout turn 5 I drew 5 nonland cards, and 8 land cards.
The deck felt very solid. I am open to any opinions on how to improve it.
1st round I LOST to delver illusions 1-2
2nd round I beat a UW control 2-1
3rd round I beat a heartless summoning B/R deck, with Olivia, Wurmcoil and other shenanigans 2-1
4th round I beat a solar flare 2-0
5th round I beat a U/B control which I was stalemated against for the longest; his nephalia drownyard was working me, and he should have won the third game, but he forgot to drownyard two turns earlier in the game. I won 2-1

Not sure if it was a good snap judgement, or a stupid impulsive buy.
Sell the Library at $150?
