Thanks for the reply, and the kind words! Sorry about the long delay, I just saw the comment now.
As far as artifacts and lands to avoid, there's not much. I mean, as long as you guys have fun with the cards and the cube is an enjoyable experience, you're doing it right. I would caution against overdoing lands that enter the battlefield tapped though, if you want aggressive decks to be playable in more than one color.
Cheers, and happy cubing!

Land is not included when determining your ACMC. But other cards, like Force of Will, might beb considered a 5 if you use their printed costs, but are actually a 0 in practice. Make sure you adjust your CMCs to what their expected costs are when calculating things. And all cards that are truly variable can get factored in as true X's, which neither help nor hurt your curve.

There, fixed.
Ya, and there's people that play extended only cubes too. Even so, that effect (while unique) is sub-par. Like you said... there a ton of other blue creatures that go in ahead of him. That's what I'm saying too. Given tha fact that he's blue too; I think I'd rather just add another non-creature spell before actually including Fatespinner in my cube.
Seriously though, even if your opponent doesn't have an answer to him right away, the effect still isn't worth the cost. Not with the quality of other cards at that CC slot.
I like all the changes man, the cube list is lookin' strong.
Also, Tolarian Academy is pretty good... I think I'd cut the Conclave for it.
Sorry to say, but you did that yourself. It started when you said that Library of Alexandria isn't game-breaking, it continued when you said if Library sucks when it's not in our opening hand, and you really drove the point home with this little gem in the quote above. Card Advantage is the biggest contributing factor to win/loss percentage over the history of Magic. Period.
Also, with the list of changes, the XXX -> YYY means you added X by removing Y... right? Like, you're taking OUT a Cancel and adding IN a Remand, correct?
This is 100% wrong. I've won plenty of games where it wasn't in my opening hand. As soon as you fill up to seven, you go on to win. Any draw spell, any CA (as mentioned by Apex) or any draw-7 card will pretty much auto win for you when the Library's on the table. Pop an Armageddon, Wait, Win. Or use something like Upheaval. It is the best card in the cube. The only one that can sorta compete is the Sol Ring. The only thing that can maybe outclass that kind of CA is two turns of tempo for 1.
Anyone who thinks Library of Alexandria is not a game-breaking card is either using it wrong, or is speaking from complete inexperience.
Seems obvious to me that you've never cubed before.
Library IS the game breaking card. Period.
