I haven't been following them in order, but I kind of wish I didn't get Creation and Control. When I ordered it, I didn't know it focused so heavily on two factions. I hope to get some other smaller boosters soon to help even it out. I think I will get "What Lies Ahead" next as per a suggestion from here. Amazon Prime free trial makes shopping too easy and tempting.
Rooted Down1GGG
Enchantment - Aura {R}
Enchant creature
Enchanted creature loses all abilities and is a land with "t: Add two mana in any combination of this permanent's colors to your mana pool." This effect doesn't remove Rooted Down.
Stay HungryBG
Enchantment U
Whenever you would gain life, you may put that many hunger counters on Stay Hungry instead.
Remove 3 Hunger counters from Stay Hungry: Draw a card. Self-denial has its own rewards.
I thought RTR and THS blended quite well. This is going to be a very flavor based comment, but please stay with me.
Thematically, the shift into RTR from INN seemed more intuitive. I can only give you examples to help make myself clear, but you should get my drift. Mausoleum Guard & Elgaud Inquisitor are so Orzhov, you don't even have to stretch you imagination. Spilnterfright & Strangleroot Geist are very Golgari. Lots of White soldiers that are very Boros and Azorious. Mad Scientist much? They really like Simic and Izzet. I am sure you get where I am going with this.
RTR to Theros is not as intuitive, but from a creature type and architecture stand point, they flow really well. One of my favorite flavor nuggets is how the Shock lands fit THS flavor better than INS, especially in the cases like Breeding Pool, where they changed the context of the title. The new Breeding Pool art reflects a place where large monsters go to breed or are bred rather than something like a cloning vat. Steam Vents? Hello Keranos. Temple Garden? No explanation needed. Sacred Foundry? Seems pretty Porphuros. Overgrown Tomb? Gorgons love that ****. Hallowed Fountain? Meletis to the max.
HELL YES! I have played some places in Las Vegas that allowed open containers and it is a blast! Magic and wanton consumption of all things intoxicating are a great pair! It will save me from bringing an ice chest of beer in my car to pre-release! A pre-release is like a celebration which puts me in the mood to party! It also softens the blow of a bad pull!
Ok, after playing my first time I didn't think the Corp was at a disadvantage. Though, both my friend and I had played the previous Netrunner many times, so this may have been a factor. We each played the Corp once and even though I lost as the Corp on my turn, I didn't feel hosed or anything.

I was hoping Warlords of Khanar had a tribal theme, but not in the sense we are used to. Like tribes of warlords unified around something else, like an ideal. Then the tribal keyword might have more significance.
Sorcery R
Put X +1/+1 counters on target creature and it fights up to X other target creatures.

Most of my core magic friends were casting spells WAAAAY before Magic came out. It was a natural hobby for spellcasters!
I wanted my STD and Limited games to feel like an epic myth unfolding before my eyes. So far I am not disappointed.
