You can also run a copy of Tectonic Edge in the maindeck. I'm in the Spreading Seas plan, with Clique, Geist, Snapcaster Mage and Bolts/Helix (still having the Nahiri package).

I would aproach the matchup with Faerie Macabre and Violent Outburst as tempo. Dredge is not that good blocking (Bloodghasts can't, and Amalgams come into play tapped), and now LE is capable of killing in one swing with the new dudes. Faeries and Outburst can give you a window to do that, you just need to do it at the right time (that's the difficult part :p ). If Dredge can grind, then don't grind

You can also run some number of Anger of the Gods, it's good against any flavor of Collected Company

Regarding Storm and Leyline, remember that they can't target you with Gifts either. They can still Merchant Scroll for Echoing Truth, but that usually gives you like 2 turns.

PS: back in my time, the tech in the LE mirror was siding out the LE :p Rolleyes

Carries equipments like a boss (or Rancor, like the old macey rock).

I never liked the 7th art, and I hate that edition symbol. I just got the 'pimp' version I want for my cube: A 6th edition white border with the classic Poole art. Gotta love that VI

Scenario A: They want the modular trigger on the stack post living end (predicated on the two unknown cards in hand or whatever thought line of logic)

7a. Opponent sacs all creatures except ravager and then some non-creature artifacts (if any), passes priority.
8a. With living end still on the stack, faerie macabre the overseer and signal pest and cycle the cerodon.
    9a. Resolve living end
10a. ETB goes on stack resolving in active player then non-active player order
11a. Modular trigger on the stack, choose either vault skirge, memnite or ornithopter or one of the manlands (if mana available)
12a. Your abilities goes on the stack, respond accordingly based on which creature the modular trigger goes on. Minotaur on the fliers and ingot chewer the nonfliers.
    13a. Your abilities resolve first
14a. Your opponents abilities fizzle unless choosing the manland
15a. Liberally activate fulminator mage whenever you feel threatened by the manland with counters if that is the target

Regarding the point 11a, I don't think you can place the modular counters on the manland. You can't activate it before the moment you need to target something with the ability, just after LE finished resolving

I ran into Lost Legacythis weekend, is there a way to play around this type of card I.e. Slaughter Games effects?

Yes, you play around it by destroying their lands with Fulminator Mage and Beast Within and casting fatties until they die. Storm may die to a Extraction effect, but LE can fight back. (even more if you run Blood Moon)

Platinum Emperion+Madcap Experiment is probably the direction I will go. You board it in against most decks you know can't remove it*.
Bolt, block with Snap, Bolt doesn't count.

I don't know if I would bring the package against blue decks(certainly not against Jeskai), but I'm OK with that kind of trade in my turn. I can bring it back after combat with LE when they are tapped out :p

I never liked Avalanche Riders in LE. If I want a LD in certain matchup, I'm not so worried about blocking... Also, getting to 4 is not that easy in the first turns (hitting 4 mana in turn 4, for example, when you need to break the tron asap).

    Regarding unconventional techs against Burn:
-Playing 4 Leylines you have around 61% of hitting one in your hand, with 1 mulligan to 6 included. (roughly ~70 if you go down to 5 cards). They can still win if they run a lot of creatures. Takes 4 SB slots if you want to max the chances of having one in your main hand.
-Taking out the LE for 3 Kor Firewalker gives you good chances of cascading into at least one (about 80% after seeing 10 cards), but hinders the main gameplan and may be too late vs Burn. At least, a couple of Firewalkers is a nice clock, and only takes 3 SB slots.
-Platinum Emperion+Mapcap Experiment takes 6 slots and has according to previous math you get: 57.81% good (you can get your PE on turn 3), 25.42% neutral (you draw neither), 12.97% crappy (you can still combo, but with some dead cards in hand) and 3.8% bad hands (you can't cheat a PE).Is slower, but it's a wincon that doesn't use the GY and some decks can't deal with it.

SSG should come out in grindy matchups, you don't need the speed and you don't want to draw 'dead' cards

General question for you veterans out there concerning the SSG/F.Mage lists.

    1. Say this is your hand: 3x land, 1x fulminator mage, 2x cyclers, and 1x cascade spell.
lets say you draw into a 3rd cycler and you are set up for a solid turn three living end. Do you take the turn off to cast the F.mage and living end on turn 4? I imagine this question depends on the matched up like if its tron you would obviously cast the mage first and if it was infect and our opponent was threatening lethal the next turn we would ignore the f.mage and cascade into LE.

    2. Between Fulminator Mage and Simian Spirit Guide which one is better *IF* you dont have both in hand? SSG allows us to pump out a turn 2 LE if we need to (ie. infect), get a 4th cycler in the yard before we turn 3 LE, surprise Violent Outburst after we only hold up 2 land letting them think its safe to go all in, and we can always hard cast him if we need a body. F.mage is also a 2/2 body for 3 when we need him but he obviously blows up vital lands in some match ups which sometimes is game winning in itself (yet is *occasionally* a dead card when our op isn't playing any nonbasics).

Just to add something to ddxxe post:
    1. Against control Fulminator acts like a pseudo-duress, either getting countered (increasing the chances of resolving your LE) or taking their blue mana.

    2. I think that SSG is what pushes this deck

I don't know if this was said before, but a good company will increase revenue as a consequence of making the customers happy

I'm on the blood moon package and I wonder if it's worth to keep it or not.... And what do I cut to put the new cyclers...

My list look like this one:
    http://mtgtop8.com/event?e=15176&d=292024&f=MO

My opinion is that Blood Moon is always worth to keep in decks that can run it. It gets you free wins against some matchups, and even free wins against people not playing around it in others. Game 2 they have to play around BM and bring some kind of hate against Living End

What do you think about Khenra Charioteer? Maybe a sideboard?

    sideboard vs? OMG

At 3 mana, I rather drop Blood Moon and win hardcasting something.

I don't get why people are getting so crazy about a 4/4 flyer with an off-color cycling cost, this deck is already killing opponets with limited fodder. Living End has other things to worry about (Burn, Affinity, Remands. etc)
