I took the risk and bought a box, pulled out a Jace. It was worth it, even if you didn't pull a Jace you still have cards to fill in your collection, you get foils, you get the Zen basic lands and trade stuff. You can sell the rares and buy a Jace too. I mainly bought the box for fun and in hope of pulling out manlands and a Jace.
If you just need the Jace and not the lands, rares, etc...then just buy it straight up.
tell yourself not to worry. thats usually what i do, its not the best but its something.
i dont really like doctors and medicine, i end up dealing with anxiety as it comes and goes. just try not to worry even you cant help it, just try. maybe you can focus more on that or something else and you'd distract your body from feeling that way.
Opened a box and got 2 Wall of Omens, 2 Inquisition of Kozilek, 1 Time of Heroes. I got 2 of almost every uncommon.
In drafts, I managed to grab 3 Wall of Omens in one draft. Ive passed them in other drafts. Time of Heroes seems to be one of the rarest uncommons in the set. I only have 2.
Runed Servitor is quite common for me. I drafted 4 of them.
I would do nothing, it is really none of my business. Unless, I know the kid or person, it is only then and there when I will advise him on a trade.
I remember being screwed over with some trades back in onslaught with the fetchlands and goblins. But it never really did bother me because I played casually. If the kid plays tourney decks, then he should know the values for himself. Otherwise, I think the kid is still benefiting if he's getting the stuff he wants. Pressure trades on the other hand are BS! I probably might step in there and ask the guy to back off if the kid doesnt want to trade.
I once traded a ton of junk rares for an Elspeth and I knew the kid I was trading with. I told him to grab as much as he wanted. He grabbed like 20+ blue rares even when I had chase rares in the binder. If the kid knows what he wants, then I think it should be fine. It doesn't end there, I also give him cards as well, even if they are chase rares, so it all works out in the end. (actually, thats how I our trade pools work here. take what you need, do the same in return.)

Also, there's no good reason to give BSA new art. I don't see her as iconic as you described, she's fairly a newcomer.

The only thing I see valuable there is the Persecutors, but FoW are much much worth getting.
