For drafting purposes even if a box is Type B there are valuable patterns that still can be discerned. If anyone is wiling to bother putting up common/uncommon data - like if they're bored or something- would be nice.
It would be questionable even at 2. In Shadowmoor, we had Niveous Wisps and Cerulean Wisps at 1 and they had the bonus of occasionally screwing over demigod auras. They still weren't good enough for a great draft deck. It's still playable enough at 3 and it's still not particularly powerful at 1. It's just one of those things you run as a final card because 'draw a card' is never a bad line of text. Even this wouldn't be constructed playable most of the time:

Instant
Tap or untap target permanent.
Draw a card.
At that point, we've obsoleted a zillion different cards and it's still limited fodder. That's why power creeping limited fodder isn't worth the trouble.

I mostly talk about Standard and some Limited. But I'm hoping my newest writer will fill in the gap and talk about combos and rogue decks.

My guess is that Kitesail is the perfect equipment for Kitesail Apprentice.

I went to the one in Edison. I went 0-2 drop in the main event after constructing a RB deck that apparently wasn't as good as it looked.
It had 3 Lacerators, 2 geopedes, 1 Burst, 1 Punishing Fire, other removal I forget, 1 Vampire Nighthawk, 1 Marsh Casualties.
My Lacerators really sucked though. They were probably a mistake.
I got a chance to talk to Dan Rein who won the whole thing. He seems like a cool guy.
