Well, with Kozilek now confirmed it also brings its keyword anhiliation. Now this might just be me, but hasn't that been brought up before but thought to be fake? Can anyone remember the thread this was in or the cards he presented?
EDIT: here's a great idea. the 12 days of Christmas!! Starting on Christmas day and for 11 days that follow, give us a card. Not card names...not art...the whole thing. No more games. Me want gifts now.
in theory 12 cards would be great, but really, wizards was nice enough to give us Jace and we shouldn't badger them over this.
How come the FNM foils are either bombs (Oblivion Ring) or crap (Watchwolf)? Can't we at least get something that is some sort of staple in some regular format?
Since When is watchwolf crap? Also sakura tribe would be pretty awesome, even with the new m10 rules.
This sums up the biggest hole in the Marit Lage-Eldrazi argument. While the popularity of Dark Depths is at the highest it has ever, ever been, Wizards was not aware of it during Zendikar testing, so why would they be aware of it when making the story of Zendikar? They surely would have seen the Hexmage combo if they were actively trying to connect Marit Lage to the Eldrazi.
Wizards was deffinately aware of this combo, as it would have had the potential to be a format definer. It was most likely considered in design and I remember them stating theey knew the combo was too strong for standard but ok for extended.
Great Wall isn't the worst ever, because it actually does something. Hoses Plainswalk. If you want to hose Plainswalk, you would use Great Wall, so it really isn't that unbelievably bad.
No, the worst ever is Pale Moon. Here is a card that was designed to hose non-basic lands, and completely failed in its mission while simultaneously falling on its ass and spilling tomato soup all over its brand new white docker pants. Even against a deck loaded with only non-basics, the card isn't remotely useful. Sorrow's Path and One With Nothing could have weird tricks to them in a bizarre deck, but Pale Moon will never be useful.
yes, but why would you want to hose plainswalk. Would hosing mindless null be just as good?
Right. But What I'm wondering is seeing hwo anhiliate was true, were the other two as well?

Are we playing so we can use tokens?

Edit: Damn, Knickm beat me too it, and his post makes more sense.
