I take "sleepers" to mean cards that are currently undervalued by the hivemind whether because they are misevaluated or because they do not yet have support cards. My picks, in order.
    Soul Ransom
    Rubblebelt Raiders
    Dinrova Horror
    Signal the Clans
    Unexpected Results

The mill cards actually seem very strong-- for mill cards.

Going out on a limb and saying this card is playable in t2. Certainly warrants testing.

The reason this is different than most "punisher" cards is that both effects are the same in an essential way. Both effects create card advantage. The choice the opponent is offered is about the degree of card advantage they will accept vs tempo. They discard 2 you draw 2 is very powerful.

The card is pretty good in multiples. The second one you play is virtually guaranteed to stick. Even so it will probably be seen as a 2-of simply because of the inherent tempo loss involved.

Obviously bad against decks that can refill their hands.

    Needs testing. Possible Thragtusk hoser.

Going out on a limb here:
I think Soul Ransom might be playable in type 2 constructed.
They discard 2 and you draw 2 is a very powerful effect. In a sense the two options are effectively redundant which makes it different than cards like Browbeat. That's a subtle but real difference, but what I mean is that either option gives you card advantage.
If you play multiples, the second one will almost always stick.
Bad against decks with low creature counts and/or the ability to refill their hand.

    Worth testing.

I would rather have instant speed removal in almost all of those situations, or sorcery speed removal when it's a non haste creature. The little value you get from slowing them down is not worth a card. At best it's a sideboard card to deal with haste. It doesn't ANSWER the cards you mentioned and by playing it you are decreasing your ability to actually have an answer card when you need it. So you slowed Hellkite down a turn with your one card. Now what? You are down a card.
An Aggro-Tempo deck would probably rather have a threat in play than this.

It also stalls decks into board wipes.

The only cards it actually stalls are cards with haste, otherwise the creature comes into play tapped, untaps next turn and attacks you next turn, just as it would without blind obediance.

Seriously, are people even reading this card? It's a niche card for control in older formats (Nerfs splinter twin and what? empty the warrens?) and has no use in a competitive standard deck.

There's NEVER any good reason to run sweepers in a creature based deck.
    -2 supreme verdict
    -2 terminus
Alms Beast is just a big cheap body, it might be good against red decks where it dodges their removal and blocks, but a deck that goes all in on lifegain should not have trouble against burn anyway.
    -2 alms beast
Blind Obedience doesn't DO anything. People think they like it because they haven't tested it. It sucks.
    -2
    +3 Obzedat Ghost Council
It synergizes well with the lifegain theme, is a finisher and curve topper.
    +1 or 2 Rhox Faithmender
This card is quite insane and gets better in multiples.
+4 Azorios Charm and/or MAYBE Orzhov Charm. You Need Removal
-2 Angel of Serenity since Ghost Council is our finisher
Not sure if I like lingering souls here, though if you do run it, then I would run Sorin over some of the Jaces for sure.
I like 2 Liliana here and Maybe one Tamiyo.

I actually understand and agree with most of the naysayers that it's a pretty janky combo idea on the face of it.

What I do like about it is that including an "oops I win" combo in a lifegain deck solves the problem inherent in a lifegain deck, ie how to win.

Good luck with that! SUPAR EXCITING WOMBOZZZ

Stop being asinine. You need to take your condescending troll self off somewhere else.

Splinter twin was a pretty ludicrous seeming idea when it happened, then someone put the deck together. Lifegain strategies have sometimes been relevant and a lifegain based deck that also contains a two card combo is not completely outside the realm of possibility.

After seeing what rhox faithmender's can do in a deck NOT devoted to lifegain, this might actually be a deck. Cathedral Sanctifier's maybe even a single Chalice of Life as an alternate finisher. ORzhov charm can recur sanctifiers. If you want to splash in green you get centaur healer and thragtusk.

Omnidoor plays a 4 mana ramp spell already with Ranger's Path and would love the occasional turn 3 Griselbrand.
    In Omnidoor--
Worst case scenario: you flip sphinx's revelation (this alone makes them unplayable together) or farseek
Middle of the road scenario: you flip a land continuing with your normal plan of ramping at this stage of the game.
Best case scenario: You flip Omniscience with Increasing Ambition in hand.

This card can definitely be powerful in the right deck. Omnidoor might want it, but would have to lose Sphinx's Revelation for Urban Evolution

2 diffent cards, with different purposes. The angel is easier to remove by the way. Baneslayer was fantastic, ghost council is without doubt 'worse'. But this will see play in constructed - be sure of that. The card is solid, it does so much by itself - aand it really is quite hard to remove.

In what way do they have "different purposes". What I was getting at is they would both hold the place in a control deck of being a finisher of choice. When someone says "let's compare and contrast these two different things," coming along and saying "they're two different things" is not particularly constructive.

I do think this will see play in constructed, but not in huge numbers in tons of winning decks. A. It really only fits in Esper control (or maybe in a Junk deck as just a good creature). B. It will probably be played as a 3-of because of it's mana cost and legendary type. I think it's a well designed mythic because of this. Not a card designed to dominate all of magic, but a card that has a niche in constructed.

The fact that Selesnya Charm is really the only thing that gets this is pretty interesting. G/W decks are really soft to wrath effects at the moment so an esper deck with Supreme Verdict and Ghost Council has some back and forth instead of just dominating that particular matchup. If Ghost Council does become a thing, then the decks that try to play Selesnya Charm to beat it, will likely still be soft to the more general strategy of relying on a board wipe.

A reprint of terror would actually be really nice. Give Ghost Council decks good cheap removal that cant be played against them.

    Selesnya charm is awesome.

Not sure this card is "the super awesome format-buster" people think it is. How does it compare to a highly splashable, battlefield dominater like Baneslayer Angel for example?

I think that the potential to cast this during the opponent's upkeep during the turn when they're most likely to sweep you is a VERY big deal. If you're on the play, dumping your hand Turns 1, 2, and 3 with this as backup on 4 is insane. Even if they have spot removal, this guarantees you a sweeper-free turn. Even if they counter it, you've delayed their sweep a turn by forcing them to use the mana to counter this spell. Assuming you have a substantial board presence already, it's reallllllly a strong play.

People said the same kind of thing about Silence (plus that it was a broken, meta breaking card), yet it recieved no play in aggro decks. Heck I even tried siding it in Boros Bushwhacker- for about a week. Then I realized I would rather just play around the sweepers and have a different card that actually did something (burn, or creature)

I think it's actually MUuuuuCH more rare than you think that this would be a good play. The fast aggro decks that really fear Wrath effects will never play this because it is too mana intensive. Rootborn Defenses is a better choice since it outright counters Verdict.

Midrange Naya is another matter. The real question is whether Bonfire just comes out for this. Personally I think maybe. A lot of the situations where you play Bonfire to win, You could also play Fury to win. The times where you play Bonfire for value plus damage, Fury would do the same. But not every situation. That is what needs to be analyzed here.

Kind of trying to have it both ways then aren't we?
