Something horrible has happened to me at Puca Trade. Here's the story:
I was having a bad day, yesterday, & I cursed out another member for whatever reason (makes no difference here). He complained. I was given no warning, no x-day/week/month restriction from use. Instead, my account was straight out terminated.
Here at least a warning is given.
I have about $170.00 in Puca Points and about $200.00 in points in transit.
I don't know what to do. Their rules allow them to do this and it feels like blatant thievery. I am waiting to here back from their admin. & to find a way to apologize. What I did was wrong, but their judgement is beyond harsh for being a potty-mouth.
If they do not budge, is there any ways to fight this?
Now the other members who are due points from me will have to open up cases to get their points back to them after waiting for at least 2 weeks & that is not fair to them.
I feel your pain. I logged onto my account today to print out shipping labels and I couldn't get to the sending screen. It was blank. Turns out, my account was banned. I have 35,000 points in the system, another 35,000 in the mail and had about 25,000 points coming on the way to me. No notification, no message, no heads up. Just a straight out ban. I had a number of issues in the past not sending things out in 48hrs, as life and work happens, but all receivers have been happy with the cards. There is no sort of resolution system, no sort of warning/probation system, no sort of temporary lockdown, just a flat out ban and account closure. I've sent over $11,000.00 worth of cards(mostly hard to find eternal staples) in the past 8 months, and this is the end result? I highly recommend that everyone keep the minimum amount of pucapoints in your account as possible unless you really want to get a card as there is no recourse or due process when it comes to banning your account. I'm out $700.00 in cards and points and I can't confirm receipt of the cards that are inbound to me. Ridiculous system if you ask me.
Italy I have no problems with. Argentina is a total hit or miss. I don't send to Spain and have stopped sending to Argentina. I have over $100 worth of points dating back to December that haven't been credited. It's not just their mail system sucks, the users from those countries don't comment back or care to log back in to give you the points.
Duals, reserve list and old foils take forever to fill. I only have old foils and stuff on my list, like foil MM brainstorms and the like. I have had 30000+ points for 2 weeks and nothing filled. I put in some smaller legacy wants like Kor and stuff and it filled fast. Cards that are in demand like LoV and in demand foils take a long time.
I find it funny that the folks that put a long winded things in their profile about demanding pack fresh NM cards and foils sometimes also send out garbage condition cards. Happened to me twice.
Anyone got a more efficient way of tracking your collection/sales for upload to Puca? I have thousands of cards where this would be perfect, but the prospect of spending days cataloging isn't very appealing.
I just sent out 6 envelopes, one including a RV Plateau. Seems like an interesting way to trade off cards and get cards you would rarely see in trade binders without stressing that someone is grinding for value.
All income is taxable. Benefit of reporting income from ebay is also reporting expenses. Value your inventory at market value. Your spec sink like a ship? Write it down on your end of year inventory valuation. You probably have up to 2 years of net losses after deducting "expenses" that will help reduce other income and give you a larger refund. That said, I can guarantee the majority of small time bay's don't report any sales on ebay. Disclaimer: I'm an Enrolled Agent with the IRS, but see your individual tax advisor as everyones situation is different =P
Ok, just threw a bunch of cards together and need some feedback on if it's cohesive. This isn't super competitive, but it seems pretty fun to play so far
I am trying to figure out how to make room for Bitterblossom, Damnation and Blood Artist. I figured the plan on this deck would be to ramp into fatties or bombs like making a ton of zombies of brining all the dead stuff back to life from rise of the dark realms, sac for profit, remove everything in the way and call it a day. However, after playing it a bit, i'm not sure that this is a "chainer" focused deck as I really don't have ways to throw stuff in the yard other then sacking dudes, but I can just as easily pop in the One Eye pirate or Sheoldred in as the commander. There are so many cool mono black cards out there but only 99 slots. Choices choices choices.
Wow, I preordered a pair of sets from these guys too, didn't see it after a few days and immediately emailed to cancel. Took a week for my credit card to be credited. Thought it was a trek thing with bad weather and all and come to find out they are big time dbags. Lesson learned.

I dunno, if you budgeted $20k for the job and you only spend $13.5k, that means $6.5k left over for magic. #cardboardlogic

Any ideas for refining this list?
