When Sower of Temptation enters the battlefield, gain control of target creature for as long as Sower of Temptation remains on the battlefield.
That's not why you can steal an Emrakul with a Sower.
The person you quoted was misled. Image is not a triggered ability and Sower's ability certainly targets.
HOWEVER
Emrakul has protection from colored spells. To break that down, he has protection from any SPELLS that have a COLOR (are not colorless.) So, the first question is, is it a spell? If it is, then is it colored? If it is, Emrakul has protection from it.
Image is a spell when you choose to copy Emrakul, and it's colored, but it circumvents protection (and hexproof, as is relevant with GoST) because it doesn't target.
Sower's ability is colored and it targets, but it's not a spell, so Emrakul doesn't have protection from it the same way he doesn't have protection from JtMS or Sarkhan the Mad.
More on topic, I will be playing storm. I have never played a match irl and hope to decimate faces while not misplaying egregiously. I also think Hurkyl's Recall is serious tech against the majority of hate cards against storm and am looking forward to incorporating it in my board.
is ernham djinn a "fatty?" i know it was played a lot but i know that some cards have spoiled us on what actually constitutes a fatty.
as an aside, i have often heard mahamotti djinn referred to as "Fat Motti," although i can't say for certain that there is a connection between his fat and other creatures' fats.

Viashino creature cards you own have flash. 2R, T, Discard a card: Gain control of target creature. Untap that creature. It becomes a Viashino in addition to its other types, gains haste, and has, "At the beginning of the end step, return this card to its owner's hand."

what about simultaneous turns? is that possible in a card game, with players alternating who is the "active" player (who has to pass priority first, etc.) and who is the "non-active" player?
also, i agree, it's not broke, don't fix it. chess has black and white. there are different, in fact often opposite, strategies for playing both, and players alternate colors. if you can't figure out your deck's strategy when playing on the draw, to quote charlie sheen from ferris bueller, the problem is you.
Talrand triggers off of spells being cast. Replicate doesn't cast spells - it just puts additionally copies on the stack - so Talrand and replicate don't interact.
Even though the Reejerey's ability is a may ability, you still have to target something, then, when the ability resolves, you choose whether to tap it, to untap it, or to do nothing.
Ok thanks, I wasn't sure because, I thought that switcheroo only had to have legal targets upon resolution of the spell
after the bear sacrifices itself, switcheroo's effect reads "Exchange control of target grave titan," which has no effect, because you can't exchange one thing.

Is it just me, or does Challenge 2 seem to not actually be a challenge? "Does not necessarily enchant a creature" makes me feel like it could be a creature enchantment and still get the challenge point.
i interpreted it to mean "enchant X, where X isn't creature, but it could maybe still enchant a creature."
Thirty degrees in the shade by the creek (10)
Hotter in the afternoon sun (8)
I take off my clothes, leave them lie in a heap (11)
Let the dog off her leash for a run (9)
With wind on my ass cheeks, I succumb and put on my shoes (14)
When I wander the creek, I don't want my poor feet to bruise (14)
I hobble down the stream for a bit (9)
A low buzzing grows louder in my ears (10)
I slow and creep around a thicket (9)
A maelstrom of flying cavaliers (9)
Thousands of dragonflies swarming the clearing (11)
Metallic hues: reds, greens, and blues domineering (12)
Fours of thousands of wings careering (10)
Mating battle, me silently cheering (10)
the ababccdedeffgg rhyme scheme is also weird, but probably acceptable. however, you can't call it a sonnet if all the lines aren't 10 syllables (with maybe one or two exceptions, typically to accentuate a word or line)
the cantrip
the whispers held a muse in locking step
she'd graze the ears of all who'd listen in
with expectations that this work would prep
her soul for glory waiting 'round the bend
but as each life arose to statures rare
and as each happy ending met its close
she'd find no whispers answering her prayers
no righteous pathway for her to expose
she gouged her eyes out in a fit of rage
and ruby tears replaced her sacred gift
but tearing holy flesh did not assuage
her hollow heart that she had cast adrift
no rays of sunlight now can grant her sight
all she can do is smile in the night

yes. to meet the second bonus challenge, that would be my interpretation.
