I would go guild gate as it turns off rakdos colors for the person next to you. They might go golgari or izzit but the rakdos multicolors from the next pack should go your way.
They're designed with limited play in mind. Basically, they're there to allow limited formats to produce multicolored decks with ease. The "gate" theme was to separate them from the previous tap lands that produced two colors. Also, the theme will continued to be explored in the next set so be patient if you want a gate deck
Not to my knowledge since you don't have priority. Also, tapping mana doesn't go on the stack.
EDIT: Looks like better people responded above. Didn't realize you could get priority after the draw step. Live and learn.
The new arts were sick Overall it's epic except for 2 things.
1. The price: but that's ok. I would rather they exist as an expensive product then not at all.
2. Desert. I wish this card was just taken out of the set and the rest stayed there. Then it would have been even better.
Question: what are the rules you are using in the deck building? Your commander is a non legendary uncommon so I'm confused on your rules. Just commons or are uncommons tolerable?
Great. Just the tread I was hoping to find.
My friend and I are going to have an upcoming competition to build a deck for roughly 40$ or less (50 with shipping) and I was Griselbrand as my general.
Gaka's list is probably the best starting point for a budget Grisel http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showthread.php?t=406678
So here's the framework after we cut out the expensive stuff from the deck.
There is already a thread with those cards listed. http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showthread.php?t=417730
But if you find any that aren't compiled, responding to that thread with the info is probably the best way to go about adding in the new info on the upcoming reprints.
Bold words to say towards something that doesn't even exist
Just to mess with the one person that reads this comment
All of the guilds are in Sinker to the best of my knowledge
Please never leave your job. If you must, please promise me that you will not be hiring from this thread.
Thank you.
