So here's the question I think everyone's asking:
"When should I sell my Vesuvas?"
I plan to sell mine right after the next major Modern event if the deck does well, what do you guys think?
Also, I'm seeing a lot of combo decks utilizing Second Sunrise jumping around. Since they're only like $.50 a piece, it seems pretty win-win to pick them up now, same for Lotus Blooms
Well, Stonewall has been promoting him for ages, but still haven't seen a lot of Cho's jungling. Tried it for a while but haven't ever really managed it.
I like him because he can have a really safe start at the enemy's wraiths.
So his standard, safest path involves a level 1 counterjungle.
She can copy Plow Under.
A man can dream, can't he?
I mean, she'd be so nasty in an LD deck.
We have Stone Rain too. I guess I'll have to whip something up.
Even though Hypergenesis is banned, I feel like Cascade decks will be huge in this format. A lot of the top decks appear to be reliant on resources gained, and many don't have too much to fall back on. With the opening 7 being so important and the lack of the "glue cards" Legacy had (FoW, Daze, MM), could Restore Balance manage to command a high price?
Also, I'm going to have to call it on Disrupting Shoal now. It's going to go up in price, as it may be the premier anti-combo card in the format.
I'd also say to watch Isochron Scepter, Jace Beleren, Mindbreak Trap (If Storm or Pyromancer's ever make big appearances), and Ghostly Prison. These all seem like strong cards for control that you guys are yet to mention. Finally, are cards from Commander legal in Modern? If so, what are some cards like Edric going to command?
Guys, wait
What do you think the ceiling will be on foil Pact of Negations?
I've had one sitting in my binder for months, and last i checked it was worth $20.
Now you can barely find normal ones for that price...
I've been playing for a while now. Lvl 20 and sort of noobish. I have no clue how to find/guess my elo.
I prefer to play tanks or supports or champs that are best solo-top (which is dumb because at my level of play I never get jungling teammates).
My LoL name is Doctor Xerox, and I play on the North America server. I'd really like more people to play with because I almost always have to queue up alone.
Well, that's because you don't have an Elo unless you play Ranked, which you can't do until 30.
Also my IGN is ChainsawTitanium, while we're on that subject.
Also also, I saved up for Skarner and now I don't want him.
More like second amendment protection.
Anyway, the whole shebang is kind of dumb, but I guess I'm a little biased against the police doing anything that isn't directly killing someone.
Even if something WAS wrong with the lemonade, it would be the consumer's fault for not noticing the rat poo in the yellow stuff.
Somebody wants to know what champs I play, eh?
They're in order of how much I play them in rows.
Ranged AD Carry: Twisted Fate, Ashe, Teemo, Urgot, Corki
Melee AD/Tanky DPS: Olaf (also Jungles), Renekton, Blitz, Tryn (Also Jungles), Shaco (also Jungles), Pantheon, Warwick (duh)
Tanks: Rammus, Nunu (also Jungles), Mundo, Amumu (also Jungles), Shen
Tanky Casters: Cho (Also Jungles), Rumble, Gragas, Ryze
Casters: Heimerdinger
Supports: Janna, Taric, Morgana, Zilean
As for who I've played the most, it's definitely Rammus. But I haven't played him in forever.
What is everyone's opinion on Terravore? New Horizons seems like the strongest "good" deck to have taken the least negative impact from Mental Misstep, so I'd expect its staple cards to go up, even if only a little. This also means you might want to keep your eyes on Horizon Canopy in the coming months, especially with the possibility of Modern Magic taking off.
yea i use it mostly for IAS and IMS. more so when her other stuff is on cooldown. that one auto attack that gets fired off quickly seals the deal more often than not. maybe something else would work better.
Annie really only needs 3 weapons to be effective. deathcap, voidstaff, and archangels or something else to that effect. between deathcap and voidstaff i had almost 300 AP. she is just obscene at this point.
Except you'll die really fast. Which sucks since Annie has such little range

Looks like Loam is starting to go up. Someone pick up the cheap ones for me, so that I may live vicariously through you.

Plus, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of not losing round 1 to Troll Ascetic.

Crucible of Worlds seems to be a big winner in this deck.
Sewers of Estark
Windseeker Centaur
Giant Badger
Arena
While the last two were reprinted (in 8th and Time Spiral, respectively), these cards' prices show that something limited in supply and unique won't necessarily command a high price. Then again...
Mana Crypt
