I'm not sure its wise to include sideboard card's specificaly for that Matchup. I would still board in the Brain Freeze's but hope to god they dont go off T2 on the play. If your plan is still Brain Freeze this is what you do. Brain freeze him a 2nd time with the first Gaea's Blessing on the stack, remand the brain freeze with Gaea's Blessing on the stack GG.

Brain freeze is no longer good VS elves... They Now have Gaea's Blessing x2 in the SB to counter that plan. I would suggest just giving up on that Matchup and focusing on the ones you can beat.

Add Nauseum + Angels Grace = Loose to Counterspell. and your still succeptable to things like Teeg and Cannonist.

This comes back to the remand statement Shin. If you giga the fetches as well they sack them, You respond by Remanding your giga and recast when the lands come into play. As for venser, well most decks dont run it at all and the decks that do run it run a max of 2 copies. You play 4 reefs, Odds are you will have more reefs then your opponent has vensers. I know Riptide tricks come into the Equasion as well but if they are spending time doing that then you should spread your counters evenly. I just played the deck in a PTQ yesterday and went 5-1-1 without making top 8 (tiebreaks sucked). I know this deck backwards and forwards. I played 4 blue decks and 2-0 all 4 matches. the games are tight but if you play it properly its a 70% win ratio in your favor. My only loss of the tornament was to my friend that played 12 SB hate cards including Rule of Law, Trickbind, Runed Halo and Ivory Mask.

    Ok Guys,

For all of you worried about blue decks, here is how you play the matchup...

Mulligan agressively into a Dreadship Reef. Once you have it, all you have to do is add counters to it all game untill your opponent has lethal damage on the board. All the counterspells in the world wont save the blue player for G1 if you do this. All he does by countering your spells is adding to the storm count because you can just hard cast the Mind's Desire off one of the reef's. You need to watch out for Vendilion Clique in responce to a seething song or manamorphose. Make sure you have atleast 1 Remand in hand.

Game 2 is a bit tricky depending on what hate cards they play but the safe bet is boarding in 2 Gigadrowse and 2 Pact of Negation and board out 2 Sleight of Hand and 2 Electrolyse. The game is played out mostly the same way as G1 where the first spell you should play all game is Gigadrowse. You will have plenty of time to setup the perfect hand. Remanding your Gigadrowse if they choose to stifle it is always great.

Hope this answers some of your questions.

As for playing MD Gigadrowse over Electrolyse. If your playing the Swath storm version this could work but the Tendrills version needs some way to deal with a cannonist and Teeg g1.

Neither one Is better then the other. Swath storm is better vs Agro and TEPS is better vs Control. With swath you dont care if they play teeg as much cuz you can straight kill them with Grapeshot + Swath or remand, If a cannonist is in play you can just lotus resolve Kill canonist with a grapeshot and go off from there or even use grapeshot to get back a desire under a Tidehollow sculler. Blue on the other hand has the option of countering Pyromancer's Swath which mite some times make the difference between a win and a loss. Enter TEPS ( tendrills version ) you have more free slots to work with and have multiple uncounterable wins. I think its just a matter of metagaming properly.

I actually like that Idea, seems like somthing worth trying. Xantid Swarm is like Orim's chanton a stick. And yes Blue decks will board out all the Creature Hate for G2. So the plan becomes all about winning G1 against the Blue decks. So yes I would try and fit Giga's in the Main deck.

U would have to be a complete retard to equip jitte when the have helix mana up. and BTW in the mirror its all about Jitte advantage. Whoever gets the first swing in with a Jitte wins like 90% of the time IMO.

In my Testing being on both sides Fae and Kithkins, I've noticed that its really about the fae player in this MU.

Fae is definately not a bye for Kithkins. (even if its a suboptimal player)

Honestly, Fae is the best deck IMO. It has a great Mid - Late game. The only ruff patch is the Early - Mid game where u need to counter the early tempo drops and keep you life at a reasonable amount so that bitterblossom doesnt kill you. If Magic were more like Rock /Paper /Scizors then Fae would be both the Rock and Paper if u get the analogy.
