Anyone of you guys encountered this kind of player. Super strict or just another troll?
I've switch to V.E. right now because there are few mirror matches and more control decks. I want my WRR to be proactive and attacking on turn 2 vs control. V.E. is not that bad.
And btw the results online shows more sphere version than V.E. because people try to copy the last worlds winner and try give it a try. I'm saying sphere version is bad though, I think its really about the metagame.
I love emissary vs control especially UB. Allowing you to have an early beater + liliana fooder is good in my books. No one was using the Sphere until it won Worlds. But then it just all depends on the metagame.
Yesterday I played 2 UW Control on fnm. I had a hard time beating them using BR Vampires (standard list). Game 2 gets sick, they were using Leyline of Sanctity meaning no duress/kalastria highborn ability/gatekeeper malakir/burn...
nowadays its hard to discard valakut because g2 they usually side in baloths. in testing i find hemorrhage is the only answer. u can name titan (they usually fetch valakut) and deal with the valakuts with ruinblaster.
