Here I will present an idea for a new, small edition I have in mind. A sequel to Fallen Empires.
Setting: Sarpadia (after the destrucion of the empire, probably before the phyrexian invasion)
Story focus: Its about Echnaton Overthrull, a lich, one of the survivors of the destruction of the empire and former member of the Ebon Hand, who wants to bring his own form of order to the wasted lands of Sapradia. He is a talented thrullmaker and uses them and his Leaching Orb for stying alive and gathering power.
So he fights the different civilisations on the continent (human, goblin, merfolk, elf and thrull) and subdues the most of them. In the end he will become a planeswalker.
Well... the whole story needs more content and embellishment.
I think it will be a very simple and short story.
Set: It should be a bit old school, with old mechanics and artwork wich emits the flavour of dark and dangerous times.
Black will have the most cards (because whole Sarpadia is destroyed and mainly populated by thrull) and will focus on creating and sacrificing thrulls and doing bad stuff.
White, blue, red and green contain a few cards of the traditional races, nice spells (especially against-thrull spells) and thrull hybrids (they took over Sarpadia, so they adapted to the different areas and assimilated other beings).
Well... what else?
