Funny story time! I have a friend that started dating a girl that worked at a home repair store (like Home Depot or Lowe's). However, instead of simply introducing me to her (y'know, like normal people), we went to her work while she was on and had me wander around her department for awhile (I think lights. That was interesting). She eventually saw me and came over, smiling, and asked in that perky customer service tone if she could help me with anything. And I just went off on her. I was saying stuff like, "What, do I look like I need help? You just assume that because I'm a Little Person, I need help? You think I can't do anything myself?! 'Oh, look at the poor little man, he can't do anything on his own.'" Just when it seemed she was about to cry, my friend came up behind her and said to me, "Hey David." I smiled at him and waved. She looked at him, then back at me, then started beating the crap out of him. We all had good laugh about it later.
That is freaking hilarious
just wondering, do yous sleep in a normal sized (twin, queen, king) bed or one specially made for dwarfs?
And by the way, can you and taylor take your crap to the PMs? the reason I go to game forums is because it's pretty much the only place on the internet WITHOUT people razzing on each other 24-7
Not until they are at least 13. If you start preaching damnation, an anti-homosexual agenda, anti-semitism etc. to a babies, who can't think for themselves, what will you get? A brainwashed child, one who won't even THINK about forming their own opinion on religion.
See, I agree. Children need to be taught to question everything, instead of having to learn it on their own (like I did- listening to George Carlin helps). And really, you have some strong points. See, I have no issue with faith (well... maybe a little). Because any of the negatives that come with being spiritual are outweighed by the positives. Faith can spur people to do things they normally would not do- volunteer at the local food bank, donate to charity, etc. Faith also can serve as a form of group therapy- it can help people feel acceptance and fulfillment in their lives. This is all a big plus.
There are indeed churches that teach the true intent of christ- church where gays are welcome, where abortion isn't brought up only in the context of fear, where tolerance and love are bred and encouraged above all else. These people are 'true' christians, and these sorts of churches (along with other faiths such as Hinduism and Buddhism) constitute the majority of the positives in defence of organized religion.
But, these are overshadowed by things such as the Catholic church.
Look at it this way: It's accepted as a religious given that man is fallible, and it seems to make sense simply because it's true. So if man is fallible, why do people place so much trust in a book that was written by man, and follow without question an institution that is man made and man run but claims to know the word of an infallible being.
Seems to me that there would be quite a lot of room for error, hm?
Agreed. Just about all of my opinions are a mix of varying philosophies, some of which I made up. We have the ability for think for ourselves, so how come not even half the world is?

1 and 3: This is the biggest problem I have with this specific case. The administrator had no right to search the phone, it is private property and unless the student opened the picture before giving up the phone I highly doubt that the administrator had permission to search the phone (and since he is not a law officer I am most certain that he/she did not have a search warrant). That being said, and as I said in my earlier post, any judge that has half a brain cell should throw the evidence out as it is clearly a violation of search and seizure law.
actually, at school teachers/administrators have the right to look through lockers/phones. We waive certain rights (see: free speech) by taking ONE STEP through a school door if we are a student their. t least for public schools, which, i think, it was.
I tested this deck out with my brother and made some interesting discoveries:
- Cruel ultimatums have little/no effect on this. Because of nourish and hide, the lack of creatures, and since I usually have one or two cards in my hand at a time.
- The mana base could use a bit of tweaking. I would remove a plains and/or forest and see how it does.
