Even in a pushed spells deck with like 10 instants/sorceries, you won't be likely to have more than 3 or maybe 4 tops in your 'yard when it matters. And sometimes only one or two. No way is this good enough for today's Izzet sections.
I mean, 2-4 instants and sorceries means 4 to 8 power for 3 mana which sounds like a pretty good deal to me. I do like Ral, electrolyze, and izzet charm better, but fortunately for me my players don't care about any of the 4th cards I've ever had in like Fire//ice and prophetic bolt, so I'm going to give this a shot. Besides, I like to bask in the glory of not having to play only drawburn in my izzet section.

Demonheart Chimera's power is equal to the number of instants and sorceries in your graveyard.
(Sorry for no picture, it's only in Japanese as of now)
Is it just me or absolutely yes? I think this is a great companion for young pyromancer and guttersnipe. 2 spells make him worth it for 3 mana, I think, and in that deck it should feel very natural and not forced. He has to potential to become truly huge. 3 toughness is a concern, but it's a 3 drop. I think this should easily be a 4/3 and often a 6/3.
In cube, Time spiral is better. But the decks that made the power 9 what they were played time twister alongside a bunch of moxen, ancestrall recall, timewalk, and black lotus. you can see where playing time twister in a deck like that is absurd.
This guy seems well costed and extremely versatile with all upside. I think he's better than people are suggesting. What this guy does against a wrath is as awkward as ignoring the urinal rule. He destroys an attacking creature, grants pump and undying, saves a dude from a burn spell, makes a huge attack, and at no real relevant risk. I'm going to test him in my 360, and my only regret is that I can attach him to mirran crusader.
It's because we're talking about milling, and THAT debate has went on for such a legendary number of pages that it should be put in the library of congress.
every time we see a potentially cubable mill card I try to avoid the threads at all costs. The general consensus seems to be that if it can't mill for 10 multiple times it isn't worth trying to mill anyone out. I more or less agree with that.
I don't think this card has potential as a mill engine, but it does look like a lot of fun. I think my 4th dimir card is dimir charm right now, so I'll give this fellow a shot if I don't have to pay for him.
Luckily there are other cube sizes than 360. There aren't any Theros cards that I'd play at 360 (for sure) that have been spoiled yet (except maybe the party 'walker).
I'd love to see what your cube would look like at 360.
It's what keeps me from my cube more than anything. That and my friends that drink too much on cube nights. There's a lady, too. She keeps me a bit, too. It's unfortunate, I need people to play with. Do any of you cube fellows live in middle TN? I promise I won't roll an Uktabi Orangutan if we cube together.

In accordance with their roll, they reluctantly accept my advances and we party like Miley Cyrus. the more I think about this guy the more I feel like he's going to be a second wildspeaker, which is one of my favorite walkers still. I will put them in the same deck and there will be mana everywhere. Definitely looking to get one for my gruul section. Will consider getting a Regular Show Alter done of Party Pete:
I was relating him too heavily to a card from my custom cube and forgot to r the f'ing c.

Thank you. I'll be sure to post in the offtopic thread when we get our new and infinitely better produced EP out in November.

I'd cut both, honestly. If I had to keep one, it'd be tooth and nail. It's much more fun.
