Hey everyone I recently made a deck, but i'm still fairly new to the game and I was wondering if a few of you could give me tips on how to improve it. I know it's a fairly large deck, (85 cards), but considering it's a 5-color deck spanning every set from mirage up, I figured it was to be expected. Besides that, any advice would be great!
The deck is largely based on flying creatures, getting dragons out on the field fast, and a strong base of enchantments to work the field to my advantage. There's a lot of direct counters and instant damage cards in there as well. But yeah, here's the list; please critique it in any way you see fit.
Other Spells:
1x Serra's Blessing
1x Conspiracy
1x Privileged Position
1x Wild Research
1x Dragon Roost
1x Doubling Season
1x Crucible of Fire
1x Exploration
This brings up another question regarding snow mana. If I were in need of a snow mana, instead of tapping a snow land, could I tap any snow permanent, such as the snow creature Adarkar Windform?
Wow, that answered every questions I had exactly, as well as a few things I was unsure about. Thanks for the comprehensive answer, I greatly appreciate it.
Hey! I'm pretty new to the game and I was hoping a few of you who have been playing for a while could help me out on a few rulings. I'll just go ahead and put 'em in a list.
1) When a card like Vesuva comes into a play and copies a legendary land, are they both destroyed or does Vesuva's copy not count towards the legendary rule?
2) Do snow covered islands count for regular blue mana as well as snow permanent?
3) Are you only allowed to play one land of any type each turn, or does this apply just to basic lands?
4) Can a creature with flash block the turn it is placed? Say I am being attacked by somebody and I decide to play a creature with flash at that moment, can I block with that creature during that combat phase?
5) Alright, guy's, this is my last one. I was never quite sure exactly how regeneration works, could somebody explain it to me please?
Well that's all I have. If you all would be obliged to help me with these problems I would greatly appreciate it, thanks :).
