"Indeed?", Neruva states to Nuele and Tessa. "Well, forgive me for my ignorance in the matter of magic. Its not my favourite subject."
Neruva shrugs the matter off and shoulders Fury.
After a fleeting glance at Vutha's ghost, she looks back to the magic users.
"So what do you suppose we do about that....thing? I'm sure you've got more of an idea than I do. Whatever the decision, can we do something soon? I'm rather...uncomfortable in its presence."
"Hmmmm.", Neruva says. "It seems that a couple of you haven't been entirely honest about who (or what) you are. I'm not entirely sure that I feel a sense of companionship with those who are already hiding things. Granted, I understand the cautiousness, however I am still irritated. Care to share what you really are, Nuele and Tessa?"
Double post! ☺☺☺☺ed up all of those attacks. Put the wrong bonuses in the wrong places. Please disregard those (despite the awesome rolls) and use these.
Smiling at the apparent power of her new foe, Neruva begins the intricate, weaving pattern of her Dervish Dance.
Neruva Moves towards the beast, and takes 5 foot steps between each swing. As long as i'm no more than 35 feet away from it, that'll allow me to use my entire attack and still make the 5 foot steps.
Also, declaring dodge bonus against this thing, obviously.
My apologies, but exactly how much can Neruva see in this one instant? She's a tad focused on the big scary thing at the moment. I'll just stick with my previous note of Tessa's glowing, and assume that between that and the Thing, I didn't notice your runes.
I don't know if there's any room left, but i'd be a Scout/Dervish/Warblade/Weapon Master, if at all possible.
I'm not sure how broken that is between a thousand cuts, time stand still stance, and weapon bonuses from weapon master...as well as skirmish damage.....yumm...
Neruva tends to ignore most things magic. Unless it's pointed at her, it's all just silly words and sparkles as far as she's concerned. Besides, as any good warrior knows, never reveal your full strength unless necessary. She'd have expected something along those lines anyways. Although, I will admit this......
As she unstraps Fury, Neruva manages a quick glance in Tessa's direction. The glowing eyes and hands is something she has yet to encounter.

Neruva Smiles at the grand entrance of a new challenge.
Unstrapping her two bladed sword from her back, she steps back as far as she can without sinking, and quirks a smile.
"Looks like we've finally got some action, folks."
I'm assuming that moving and equipping a weapon is my turn. Neruva likes to gauge her opponents before rushing in headlong. So i'll wait until the Thing's next turn before I roll for what I want to do.
I'm actually rather enjoying my Red/Green version. Bloodbraid cascades, colossal might functions the same as as distortion, and vines provides some great protection/pump.
I'm growing pretty bored with this place, now that meal ticket left. I say we head out now and investigate these prices. If we're lucky, we'll be the ones getting paid to protect a ship. Like Tessa said, we can always use a little extra shiny.
With that, Neruva winks at Tessa, turns her back, and proceeds to leave the tavern.
I'm interested in joining in a second campaign. D+D 3.5 anything i'm cool with. I'm not amazing or anything, but I grasp the rules fairly well, and Halinn helped me understand the Gestalt stuff.
Sounds like a lot of the shiny stuff to me! Shall we loiter around discussing gems, or shall we get our asses to where we're going. Anybody happen to know the price for the group of us to hop on a ship?
Also, I apologize for not changing the font for dialogue lately, I'm on my phone and can't quite remember the font tags. Ill figure it out when I get home.
Neruva smiles at Tessa's vicious statement.
"It really is always the little ones. "
She then leans forward, as a negotiator attempting to persuade somebody. With an eager look on her face, she proceeds.
"Consider this, though. What if I don't want to play the game just to win? I'm rather fond of the game itself, and it would be a shame to let all of our opponent's pawns go unscathed before we are victorious."
Neruva shrugs the matter off and shoulders Fury.

Like, with seperate weapons, I know the off-hand only gets half your strength bonus to damage.
Weapons wielded with both hands get 1 1/2 though.
Can somebody just fully explain what bonuses are involved with both for the purposes of two weapon fighting?
Anything else you feel we should discuss, ladies, sir, and (while sneaking a wink at Tessa) scaley?
With this, Neruva reaches for the purse of coins to see how much Sir Alon had allotted for expenses.
Sorry, Id Ego, now we're even, lol.
