Okay so now that Arixmethes is basically proven to be a thing in URs and Godsend... what was Olantin? Its original name before the PW guide and novels were written? So confused.
Olantin was a coastal polis, whose inhabitants enraged Heliod, and he crushed the city with Khrusor:
Hmm. I vaguely remember that the sword shrinked during the fall from Nyx to Theros. The same as Polukranos had much more heads in Nyx than in Theros. So maybe even there Dekella shrinked the moment it leaves the hand of Thassa (essentially Nyx).
Considering the cards, Godsend was transformed by Heliod. Who knows what shenanigans did he do with it. And Dekella isn't even an equipment, but Kiora is a planeswalker, and technically "player", who can use non equipment artifacts
Anyway, this was more than decent UR. I hope in future they will be at least at this level.

I really wonder how the bident would work in other planes. I expected these weapons to be inherently a part of Nyx, like the gods themselves, and therefore untransportable from Theros. Because the story ends so abruptly, it might dissolve just moments after. We will see.
I suppose Dekella may exist just as Elspeth's sword did. In fact, when Thassa threw it, it reduced its size the same way the sword had done, when Elspeth had grabbed it back then.
However, we don't know much about Elspeth's sword, only that she could channel her magic through it. Dekella could work the same way.
There are two options (OK, feel free to add more.) The better one: the plot will start shortly after Zendikar block, and will be more or less parallel with Return to Ravnica. The denizens of Zendikar will be fighting a losing battle. The all-planeswalker fight will be introduced in the second set (which could very well come after Tarkir block, time-wise). How many Multiverse years elapsed between Zendikar and Tarkir? Five, ten, twenty?
The worst: Anything is possible, because Sarkhan and his time shenanigans :-(
Maybe, since Gideon's spark ignited due to grief over the death of his comrades, the trigger could be "Whenever another blocking creature you control dies," and the extra ability "Destroy all creatures blocked by that creature" ...

Also, the guy who made that video brought up a good point: Wasn't it established in Urza's block that Karn was created because silver was the only thing that could go back in time without being obliterated? Urza did use magic, no, to send Karn back? So how does Sarkhan manage it with Ugin's magic, being biological and not silver? If this was addressed in another forum post somewhere, please excuse my ignorance and point me in that direction.
Urza did use magic to send Karn back in time. Sarkhan only used Ugin's body which acted as a time rift/portal (the similar way when in Time Spiral we saw many legends from the past - alive and not made from silver).
Jeska and her sacrifice, a deliberate release of all her immense power and subsequent accepting her death (to be with her brother Kamahl again in some sort of afterlife) during the final rift closure was the thrice-damned REASON for the MENDING.
They are NOT going to RETCON that.
Sadly, though, they could retcon whatever they want :-(
Could it be that basic lands in FRF are a hint? There are Abzan Plains and Swamp, Jeskai Island and Mountain, Sultai Swamp and Forest, Mardu Plains and Mountain, and Temur Forest and Island...
At least for me Serra cared about others and her realm more than anything else...
What about Serra PW with two abilities, and a "static" ultimate?
Serra of the Realm 3WW
+2: Put a 1/1 white Human Soldier creature token with first strike onto the battlefield.
-2: Put a 4/4 white Angel creature token with flying and vigilance onto the battlefield.
As long as there are eight or more loyalty counters on Serra of the Realm and you control
a creature, you can't lose the game and your opponents can't win the game.
Would HAVE to be? No. The Zendikari kor have pronounced affinity to stone and its magic - see Stoneforge Mystic. She (Nahiri) was shown to have much power over the (stone) hedrons. Last but not least, we have examples of stone magic in white (Stonewise Fortifier, Builder's Blessing, Mystic...)
This. And some common kor would hardly proclaimed herself "Protector of Zendikar", and would be able to pacify pre-mending planeswalker single-handedly
Besides, the more I read about Nahiri, the more I imagine her as Stoneforge Mystic...
Lili won't stand a chance. And no one would be sorry.

The ruins of the polis now lies on the seabed.

I always thought Ugin is/was the Worldsoul of Tarkir...

Starting loyalty 3
The picture is similar. Great black cloud, and all Onakke died at once.
