Funkenstein3D posted a message on CD3: Player #1Mardu Hateblade. We could take Rakshasa's Secret, but I'd consider that more of a sideboard card for slower decks, and I think we need to focus on filling out our main deck first.Posted in: Limited (Sealed, Draft)

Funkenstein3D posted a message on CD3: Player #2Archer's Parapet. Ideally we can cut Smoke Teller, which is not really what we want our two drops to look like.Posted in: Limited (Sealed, Draft)

Funkenstein3D posted a message on CD3: Player #5Both of the evasive threats here are appealing, but I too am going with Mystic of the Hidden Way. I think the increased inevitability beats out the mana efficiency of Windscout, as this deck is not particularly suited to racing.Posted in: Limited (Sealed, Draft)

Funkenstein3D posted a message on CD3: Player #6Well, we've got our pick of awkward three drops here. I guess Canyon Lurkers is the best fit for this deck, but none of them excite me.Posted in: Limited (Sealed, Draft)

Funkenstein3D posted a message on CD3: Player #7Two drops can still be cast on turn three, and Ainok Bond-Kin is just better than Hordechief. Timely Hordemate pushes us to focus on our two slot as well.Posted in: Limited (Sealed, Draft)

Funkenstein3D posted a message on CD3: Player #8Roughrider could give us another hard to cast high end threat, but I'd rather take advantage of the opportunity to improve our mana base while we can: Scoured Barrens.Posted in: Limited (Sealed, Draft)

Funkenstein3D posted a message on CD3: Player #1Throttle would be a good pick up, but I'll second a Scoured Barrens. We need three or four good spells to fill out our deck, but I don't think we'll have trouble getting them, and Throttle is fairly replaceable. After this we should be good on fixing and can focus on picking up the spells we need to finish this beast.Posted in: Limited (Sealed, Draft)

Funkenstein3D posted a message on CD3: Player #2As much as I love a Big Woolly, we need the fixing Frontier Bivouac offers. It's only a G/U dual in our deck, but that's still great. We have enough spells to fill out our deck already, so we really need to be prioritizing fixing lands.Posted in: Limited (Sealed, Draft)

Funkenstein3D posted a message on CD3: Player #5This pack is a real stinker. There's a good number of cards in our colors, but none of them add much to our deck. Set Adrift is probably the best card in our colors, but we already have three delve spells that are all better. We already have Roar of Challenge, and Barrage is a similar effect that is probably worse in general. The other spells are just low power; we don't really seem like a Trumpet Blast deck. I'm going for the Whirlwind Adept, even though I don't really like the card. We're in need of creatures, so it might make the cut. It's an untargetable source of ferocious, for what that's worth.Posted in: Limited (Sealed, Draft)

Funkenstein3D posted a message on CD3: Player #6Looks like yet another Snowhorn Rider. I was actually strongly considering the Grizzly, since it is a bigger threat turn three that also turns on ferocious, but I'm not sure we're going to be green enough to reliably drop it early.Posted in: Limited (Sealed, Draft)
