What makes me the happiest about this article is that my first "combo" I thought of "my self" really did work the way I thought it did.
(Firebreathing + Riptide Mangler)
Firebreathing doesn't actually work the same way. Only effects from static abilities apply in layer 6d. Firebreathing has an activated ability, so its effect applies in layer 6b, and it will be overwritten by the Mangler's power-setting ability, which applies in the same layer and has a later timestamp.

Search: If you're required to search a zone not revealed to all players for cards of a given quality, such as card type or color, you aren't required to find some or all of those cards even if they're present;
You can fail to find what you're searching for only when you're searching a zone that's not revealed. Zur's Weirding causes the hand to be revealed, so you'll have to find the Rune Snag there.

Many thanks to to all those who voted, as well as everyone who offered constructive feedback in the forums. As a writer, I need criticism, no matter how much I dislike it.
In my defense, however, I submit that it's easy to make an incorrect determination of gender when given an image less than two inches across that lacks the more obvious anatomical characteristics. But, yes, Ethersworn Canonist is a woman.
No, it couldn't. The Dream Stalker's ability doesn't target; you choose what permanent to return when the ability resolves.
