This is not quite accurate. As long as the casting cost has red in it, the card is red.
Unless the card has red in its casting cost, but specifically states that it is colorless, like Ghostfire for example.
A fundamental principle of Magic is that cards can break the rules, so pulling a card out of thin air in order to make an otherwise correct statement incorrect is not useful. Spam warning for nitpicking. -Carsten
I got my FTV: Exiled for 70, and then quickly got rid of the cards while their values were still high.
Most of the cards in this set seem to be aimed toward the EDH or Vintage crowd, with the exception of Mox Diamond and Sword. Those will probably be the biggest things once the dust settles IMO, as they'll see the most play in competitive formats.
Semi-related question, what are the ratings cut-offs for byes at PTQs? I thought I heard somewhere that a 1800 rating in the format of the PTQ got you a bye, but I wasn't sure...
Got a box of M10, a box of Worldwake, and 24 loose packs of Japanese Worldwake at the $5K in Indy... Pulled 10 manlands, 5 M10 duals, a foil Ball Lightning, and these...
Finally got the last couple cards I'd been needing. Here is the 75 I will be running at the $5K in Indy this weekend. All are foil, and a few are signed.
I'll be getting one... Simply because I spent 4 hours opening and sorting my LGS's boxes, and they are going to sell me the foil one that got opened at the price of a regular one. And I've got a load of junk that I was already planning to offload to them anyway, so it won't be too bad.
I got a couple myself, and a buddy of mine got one. The rares were meh, (Unscythe, Soul's Majesty, and something else not worth noting) but the commons/uncommons pulled through... Bloodbraid, Bituminous Blast, Putrid Leech, Sprouting Thrinax, a couple of the artifacts from the Tezz deck, and a couple other decent ones..
All in all, idk if it was worth the price tag though...
A reminder, the Cali store opens at noon Pacific Time; that's around 3 o'clock Eastern Time, 10 o'clock Hawaiian. (A cookie to whoever get's that reference.)
Give it about 45 minutes to an hour for the last piece.
Rocket Power reference??
But this seems to be amazing... U/G/r Grow Ramp might be viable... Lorescale, Scute Mob, Rampaging Baloth, etc...
Was his name Kent Ketter? That sounds an AWFUL lot like a guy I played in a side event at Seattle.
Doesn't really sound like Kent to me... He plays from time to time my store, and I wouldn't exactly call him a casual multiplayer diehard...
Worst player I've played, back during the first couple weeks of Eventide, dude turns his FoD into an 8/8 beatstick while I'm at something like 11... Untaps his stuff, goes "Uhh... Double Cleave my Fod, swing for 16, I win", and before I could even say anything he stuck his hand out to shake my hand... Upon seeing that, I proceeded to Unmake his FoD into oblivion... He picked his cards up and stormed off mumbling about how much of a d-bag I was...

Aether Vial would like to say hi.
I put them in so that SGC can shoot down Baneslayers, and random other things that are big, dumb, and inconsiderate...
DD isDark Depths, and Bob is the nickname for Dark Confidant.
But on the topic of dredge, anyone think running a 1 of Bojuka Bog is worth it in the current meta?
All in all, idk if it was worth the price tag though...
