You can use ebay code "PERKMEUP" for $5 off a $5+ purchase -- good for getting yourself something cheap for (almost) free. Just picked up a playset of Beast Whisperer for $0.99 (had to go with a more expensive auction to get a cheaper price).
EDIT: I should have planned this out a little more carefully, since you can combine items from multiple sellers in your cart before applying the coupon. Ah well.
Because this is a completely normal price increase, lol... I'm in no mood to do the legwork to the "why" of this jump... who's got an idea off the top of their head?
At the time, there were 2x copies listed on TCGPlayer -- one for $140.00 (which is still there), and one for $13,000 (presumably supposed to be $130.00 with the decimal in the wrong place). That item has since been removed. There are always simple explanations for these types of odd prices.
I missed "from anywhere" the first time, as well -- I'm thinking small, but this is still pretty decent value just churning through your deck with Tranquil Thicket/Slippery Karst and the like.
I still think a post of, "Hey, I do some wiki editing and was interested in the Core Set 2019 Welcome Deck lists for the sake of posterity" would have been more useful from the outset than "Title," but that's just me.
As always, a picture/scan may help -- do you think it's possible that they are FBB cards with the borders erased? I only ask because it seems like the FBB Japanese 4th Edition was released in 1996, but the FWB Japanese Edition was released in 1995 (link). Of course, I am having trouble finding anything to corroborate that.
There was also the Introductory Two-Player Set released in Japan in 1996; however, Lord of Atlantis was not one of the cards included in the decks.

I have good news for you.
Didn't see any cards I needed, but picked up 300x forever stamps for $95, so I'm set there for quite a while.

...I may or may not have forgotten that card even existed, let alone that it existed as a Mythic.
Or, you know, Brood Keeper and/or Dragon Egg -- both of which still fit the crunch.
They are all Planeswalker Deck cards -- the blue and black versions are Tezzeret's Gatebreaker and Liliana's Spoils, respectively.
