Kind of a shame it doesn't exile from any players' graveyards (like Cemetery Reaper or Withered Wretch), but I guess the repeatability (and lower cmc) makes up for it. I imagine I would use this as a 2-drop beater more than anything else (a la Sangrophage), but still prefer the likes of Relentless Dead and Stromgald Crusader, among others, in other formats.
... Dont they issue new art for cards as old as Masques? Odd to see art this old on a reprint. Suspicious of the authenticity.
It's not that uncommon -- looking at Eternal Masters, for example, there were a handful of first-time reprints from roughly the same era using the original artwork:
The link confirms that Reclamation Sage is in the set, anyways -- they show the full cards of quite a few M19 commons/uncommons. Those spoilers could probably be put in their own thread so people easily see it.
EDIT: Or maybe not -- it looks like they were all added to the spoiler a while ago already.
Well, there's finally a bit of chatter on mtgfinance about it -- I guess it's just a general (steep) uptick of interest following the release of Battlebond? I agree with above -- still seems like a pretty aggressive buyout.
I'm also curious about this, as I haven't seen mention of it anywhere else online. At the time of this post, TCGPlayer was completely sold out (all conditions/languages), and there were only a handful of copies on eBay from international sellers with exorbitant shipping fees to the US. Anyone have any insight?
My multiplayer experiences are clearly very different than yours, but to each their own!
I will throw one other suggestion out there -- if you are on the Relic Seeker/Emeria, the Sky Ruin plan (with some other expensive cards like Mass Calcify), what about running 1 copy of Sword of the Animist? I mostly run it in some of my other Voltron-y builds, but it's not the worst way to help get to 7x Plains.
I know you are going for an Emeria deck, but you almost have the basic shell of a decent Soldier Stompy deck, too, if you wanted to add a bunch of Sol lands and swap out some of the more lackluster creatures.
But yes, I am also a big fan of Militia Bugler, and will be looking to jam it in several of my WW decks -- I mostly play Soldiers a bit lower to the ground (Champion of the Parish, Thalia's Lieutenant, Hada Freeblade, Kazandu Blademaster, etc + recursion for multiplayer). I'm hoping we get some other decent knights/soldiers in M19 to compliment some of the other decent stuff we have gotten in recent sets.
Well, yes, I know all of these aspects about trying to find reputable sellers -- I am an experienced buyer (and seller) who used to deal with larger volumes myself. I was just amazed/slightly amused that all of these issues were suddenly happening over the last 1-2 months, involving sellers both large and small.
Note you can immediately reach out to a seller after a purchase, and the store front makes it really hard to not check messages before filling orders, so if you reach out to make sure they confirm exact set, you can hopefully avoid some refund/return delays.
I actually did do this for some of my more recent orders (as noted above), to no avail! I am just going to chalk it up to a string of bad luck and/or the fact that there are now several Anthology products out there.
As a relevant update, I recently ordered 2x copies of the same card I have (unsuccessfully) been trying to get a playset of for the last month, and they hit me with the double whammy: refunded me for 1x copy (due to "inventory issues") and sent me the wrong version of the other 1x copy (even after I reached out to them ahead of time to confirm they had the right version). As KnickM said, I am usually able to get a quick refund, but it's time consuming and mildly irritating.
It's been happening to me more often in recent weeks, too (3-4 times in the last month) -- and my wants are all over the place, so it's not like I am ordering the new "Standard hotness" or anything like that.
My bigger problem has been that, for the life of me, I cannot get a single store to send me the correct version of certain cards -- in particular, I have had 7-8 stores send me Anthology versions of original Duel Deck/Commander cards in the last month alone, making it seemingly impossible to put together matching playsets of the versions I want. I'll probably just suck it up and go pay little more at SCG or something, but it blows my mind that no one on TCGplayer is really paying attention to what versions of cards they have in their inventory.
I don't think core sets have story sportlights, do they?

...plus some stuff from Invasion/Odyssey/Onslaught blocks.
I just wish they dipped into the pre-Mirrodin well for reprints a little more often.
EDIT: Or maybe not -- it looks like they were all added to the spoiler a while ago already.
*Does a quick search* I assume you found this video or its related article? I mean...meh?

Otherwise, I don't really like Relic Seeker here, especially if Heirloom Blade is your payoff. It is pretty difficult to connect with in multiplayer in any deck, let alone in a deck like this where removal is sparse and the overall curve is a bit higher. I'm also not a huge fan of Ballyrush Banneret or Knight-Captain of Eos, though I feel less strongly about these. Would the deck not be better served by swapping out some of these creatures for some number of Thalia, Guardian of Thraben (terrific with your low non-creature count), Thalia, Heretic Cathar, Preeminent Captain and/or Recruiter of the Guard? Most of these seem to play nicely with other cards in your deck (eg, Preeminent Captain --> Captain of the Watch; Recruiter of the Guard/Militia Bugler --> nearly everything in the deck, though there are a few 3-toughness/power creatures).

Sounds like a similar situation with the OP -- I would definitely not take the risk on this one.
