In my time playing this deck I've noticed it's always best to have at least two creatures for every CMC. At 5 I am always going to grab Seedborn, but what if it's in my hand and my timing doesn't allow me to double grab a 6cmc. It's always good to float options in this deck and ANYTHING that slows a turn for an opponent is crucial. Also my secret tech card for the deck is Nature's Chosen
I figured Ajani would show up to this plane when I saw the first card that had the Leonin pictured on it. It might not have been Ajani but I had my hunch.
Seeing the artwork only makes me sad that Ron Spencer no longer really does art for Magic because it isn't homogenized, digitally-created artwork. Forget Rebecca Guay or Terese Nielsen, Ron Spencer blows them both away when it comes to MTG art.
Quote for truth. A friend of mine collects all Ron Spencer art in foil. I think Ron and Phil Foglio are the best artists in my opinion for Magic.
This card is one of my favorite and most played in EDH. I wouldn't mind owning this bad boy.
Man I'm screwed. My local LGS' is Cool Stuff and they'll charge an arm and a leg depending on what comes in it and the comic shop near by prices it at the same as them... Price gouging of product that has a preset MSRP is stupid but the MSRP is just a suggestive price for stores.
Invigorated Rampage is fun with it. All the pump spells for days
Also notice that the female with the galaxy in her has the God of B standing in the background of her art.
The guy praying in the first art is praying to the God of W.
Edit: Looks like a cycle of Equipment's for all the God's weapons. We also get to see what the God of R finally looks like as well.
Edit: Looks like the God of W has his spear as an Equipment maybe?
