Huh, his latest post convinced me that he is not a gimmick. I mean, don't people make gimmicks to use a different play-style without it being compared to their usual persona? What would be the point of creating a gimmick to test out the strat. of whining and choosing not to post?

Just post. Make scumlists, ask questions, do whatever just get the game rolling.
Also, do not be at all surprised to be labeled as possible gimmick. Members here have been known to have gimmick accounts so people don't know who they are immediately. When someone signs up purely to play mafia, they are generally at least thought to be a gimmick of some experienced player, so don't take it personally.
Also, seconding what Prom said: if you don't want to play, replace out for someone who does. You accomplish nothing by being a dead weight.

Need to reread blue and eyfew, something feels off with both of them. Unfortunately not gonna happen till Monday at the very earliest, only going to be able to post from the iPhone till then and quoting is a major pita.
Your post is contradictory. You say that we are making random posts, and that is making it harder for you to scum hunt. Scum hunting is about reading and looking for clues. How are we supposed to do it if people don't post? This could almost be construed as a veiled message to one of your scum buddies to post less and lurk more.
Perhaps one of the more frequent posters (Blue? AF?) said something that gave them away, and you don't want us paying attention to it.

Also, the RVS is just a way to start off the game until someone does something weird. People also use it sometimes to set up later claims (example: AsianInvasion setting up his false claim for later in the game in Basic 13).

As anyone who's played with me knows, I tend to be very slow to accuse and to generally fail at analysis. Working on fixing that this game, but we'll see -.-
Not sure I really see the point in the age claim (and yes I know you explained it. still doesn't seem useful to me). Either way, I'm 14/male.
All I'm getting from AF is newb - whether scum or town remains to be seen, ATM kinda leaning towards scum.
blue is setting off something on my scumdar, I have no idea what but my gut is saying "scum...". Will re-read and see if I can find anything in the... 3 pages so far
Promatim definitely is looking town to me. So far he has been consistently helping the town, so townie points there.
To everyone: How many games have you all played? Just trying to get a sense of how experienced this game is, looks like Anak, Exsam, and me (kinda :p) are the only really experienced ones here.
