I'm surprised that an America-color control deck with two creatures won the newest Starcity at a time during the set release schedule when control decks traditionally perform poorly.
It should certainly shut up the "control is going to die out!" crowd.
Here's what I've learned from my time here at MTGS and why I now avoid the Competitive forums:
1. There are always complainers about their archetypes, right now it's the control players.
2. Everyone's idea is considered stupid if you have no results outside of something no less than an official Starcity/WotC event. FNMs do not count for jack ****. (I actually dont' mind this though, as yes an FNM is vastly different from an actual event but its still annoying to see people argue about this.)
3. Your deck sucks for various reasons.
4. Creativity is considered stupid, unless it does well consecutively. Then its not creative anymore.
5. Your a noob if you play Aggro
6. Your a dick if you play Control
7. Your an idiot if you play Combo
8. RDW never dies. NEVER DIES.
9. Everyone is a troll. Doesn't matter if you say your not, your a troll.
10. Everyone keeps thinking a specific card is "Super Secret Tech, OMG YOU GUYS THIS CARD IS THE REAL THING GUYS GUYS OMG YOU GUYS!!!" most of the time it's obviously not but again look at point 9 to see the reason for this.
11. All facts and evidence you bring are considered false unless their given in a perfectly worded post. Then it's still false but you look smart saying it.
12. Fanbases for certain "rogue" decks are very very scary when their pissed off, but great fun to laugh at.
13. If your playing a L33T deck your considered a hack who has no creativity in their bones and is ruining the game for the rest of us.
14. Mods are considered idiotic jerk faces who pay special favors to certain members because of oral pleasuring from their mothers.
15. Insults are more common than a basic land.
16. Rants about specific player types are more common than a basic land.
17. Everything you know about the game is wrong...Unless your Pro Player/Writer X, Y, or Z. Then your word is Gospel or Crap.
18. WotC hates you if your a control player.
19. WotC hates you if your a combo player.
20. WotC loves you if your an Aggro player, but can occasionally give the control/combo player stuff to make you suffer.

Y'all mind if I throw up my own custom cards?
We are in dire need of Vedalken and Human love. So if you can support those tribes that would be fantastic, other than that yes please do what you want. Just follow what we have on our Clan Site and your all set.
The name for Epic Living Death seems...odd. I don't hate it but I do think it wouldn't hurt to change it. However like everyone else I have no idea what to call it so it's going to stay like that...
