Although I guess I can't moan too much, I even say in that post that someone thought up roughly the same idea as me before I did... and since I thought it up indepedently of them, I'm sure you could have too. Just chalk up the name similarity to great minds thinking alike, I suspect.
Fiery Tantrum :2mana::symr::symr:
Enchantment (R)
Whenever you would win a clash or coinflip, you may replace that win with a loss. If you do, Fiery Tantrum deals 2 damage to target creature or player. Losing hurts—especially if you’re the winner.
I think it's way too good. By turn 3 or 4 red can easily have created a life total difference so that he has no problem taking 4 to the head and turning the spell back over and over again to its opponent, who is going to lose a like amount of life and perpetuate the cycle unless he bites the bullet and takes 4 + sacs a land. So obviously he'd just do that to start with, in which case it's a flame jav with a stone rain tacked on for free. Admittedly it can backfire if they have any decent amount of life gain in their deck, but against many many decks this just spells utter ruin on turn 3.
Wow, color me confused. I could have sworn it pumped out instead of :1mana:, but I guess I was just wrong. Sorry about that BB. Doesn't change my position that it's desperately unbalanced, though. Also, it's not that I'm antagonizing you, but I was really dismayed to see it getting votes today just because to me it seems so unbelievably overpowered that I can't imagine a rational person voting for it. Compared to Kher Keep or Urza's Factory it's just an absolute powerhouse. And I know my own cards sometimes tread into the realm of "big, flashy, and stupid," which is difficult for me to see just as it's difficult for anyone to see the flaws in their own designs. I want people to draw me out and tell me all about how bad my cards are when they sometimes go over the line, in just the same way I feel compelled to ask certain people what they were thinking when making a certain card.
If anyone ever feels I'm antagonizing them or otherwise being negative, I definitely want to hear about it because it's not my intent to spoil the game for anyone else. I can get carried away with my opinions sometimes, though.
Wow Blackbull, that Akrasan Outpost is the most overpowered land I've seen in a long time. Didn't you see a little bit of a problem in creating a Plains with Exalted tacked on for free which could pump out more exalted weiners for a modest fee?
She, Unfettered by Flesh :1mana::symw::symw::symw:
Legendary Enchantment Creature - Human Mystic
Flying
Other creatures you control are enchantments in addition to their other types.
Creatures you control aren't creatures for the purposes of spells and abilities. ("Destroy target creature" couldn't target them and "Destroy all creatures" wouldn't destroy them; "Destroy target noncreature permanent" could do both.)
[2/4] "When the soul shines brightly, what use has it anymore for burdensome bodies? Shed them and know at last the peace you've sought so long for."
Myrvana
Legendary Land (R)
Whenever a Myr creature would be put into your graveyard from play, you may instead remove it from the game. If you do, put a charge counter on Myrvana.
:symtap:: Add to your mana pool.
:symtap:, Remove a charge counter from Myrvana: You gain X life, where X is the number of charge counters on Myrvana. Free from Memnarch's servitude at long last.
Majora: You might want to go after the talent of someone who can actually win the DCC every now and then; I've just been mopping up leftover votes all months. Think I might have a winner to post for tomorrow, which probably means it'll sit at 0 all day like all my favorite ideas. (whine whine wah wah)
What was wrong with my wording, Silken? I was only extrapolating from the current Wither reminder text; if damage can be dealt as one kind of counter it can certainly be dealt in other kinds as well. I know all about damage prevention/counter dumping cards, but wanted to update the concept with easier wording that was supported by new rules text.
Coilcowl :3mana::symug::symug:
Creature - Elemental Horror (R)
Whenever Coilcowl attacks, creatures your opponents control with flying lose flying until end of turn.
Whenever a creature loses flying, Coilcowl gains flying until end of turn and you may draw a card. Although built for flight, it lacks the skill to steer its own ponderous body through the air. It resorts to borrowing that knowledge — forcibly — from its neighbors.

Vitablow :2mana::symgw:
Instant (U)
All damage that would be dealt to creatures this turn is dealt in the form of +1/+1 counters.
"Violence is just force gone awry. Reroute that energy and you'll find what healing can be had from harm."
It's an ironic backlash that voting for my card actually just proves the point it's trying to make even more... but I appreciate the nod, Soron. I was just looking for the most passive-aggressive way to vent my anger I could possibly come up with.
Big Stupid Flashy-Looking Thing :symwb::symur::symbg::symrw::symgu:

When BSFLT comes into play, choose two: it's ridiculously unplayable; or it's flashy but does nothing useful; or it's flashy and does something immensely overpowered; or it's just plain dumb.
When BSFLT comes into play, you win the DCC for today.
BSFLT's power and toughness are each equal to the number of votes you've received so far for today's DCC. Since you won it, it's probably a lot.

In addition to soron's comments, I think it should have the clause of "you can't add mana to your mana pool." (and having it turns the text too wordy), but anyway, as happened to me with Wheel of Seasons in the last round, it was a high inspired card that made us fall into unsucces (too much hard concepts to work about in one single card). :/
EDIT: If I'm not wrong, in this round EVERY single card had at least one misspelled thing, but mine (I think, I'm not sure about the comma) and Planesjaywalker's one (and fortunately, it was a good one to vote for, in spite of it's basically an expensive unblockable grizzly, but creative and amussing). Just an observation.
I'm a big stickler for spelling. What was my spelling mistake?
