I have tried to build signed Painter deck but some cards are so hard to find that it seems like they don't even exist. I'm talking about Simian Spirit Guide, Painter's Servant and Grindstone. Have those artists ever signed cards?
Yes, all three artists have signed cards in the past. BUT they don't allow people to mail cards to them. Mike Dringenberg is at Comic Cons but since he did a lot of great comic art it is very hard to get him to sign Magic cards...
Isn't Jesper Myrfors really difficult to get signed as well, I've heard?
ALso, about how common is a Dan Frazier signed card? Just acquired an Alpha Forcefield signed by him... kind of awesome and I feel a vintage card in this good shape (LP+) and signed should probably command a premium.
Yep, Jesper is fairly hard to come by as well.
Dan Frazier allows to mail him cards (in reasonable quantities) and he has a very fast turn around. His sig doesn't really command a premium.
Yeah, get those cards signed. And remember to make pictures and post them in the "pimp"-thread.
I want to add the following to the rare bunch:
- Daniel Gelon (Wheel of Fortune / Strip Mine)..doesn't sign or attend tournaments
- Tom Wänerstrand (Original Blood Moon)..doesn't sign or attend tournaments
Nothing really exciting this week (apart from the Surface Pro 3 that I bought via a friend from the US), so I have prepared some signed sets where I am not really done yet and since I don't expect to be able to finish them (anytime soon) I show them already to you...
Urza's Destiny
Missing cards (4): Colos Yearling / Junk Diver / Storage Matrix / Wall of Glare
Alpha Meekstone to improve my VG-Version and the 3rd Beta (those signed Hoover cards are VERY hard to find). The Tolarians were signed/altered at Stephen Daniele's Appearance in Italy two weeks ago...

Would it be in poor form to have your Tropical Island signed by Mark Poole as well? I think it'd be neat to have the (incorrectly) credited artist sign them too.
Well, I might do that...but considering the prices those cards take I think they won't leave the binder any time soon
Huh? Whoh...
*does a double-take*
RK Post signed breeding pools?
That's so...random!
A part of me actually wants those since they're probably quite rare, but a part of me also wonders why he would even sign them, and why anyone would intentionally ask him to sign cards that aren't even his to begin with. Has RK Post been doing this for awhile? I'm only curious because he signed a bunch of cards for me in late 2011, and in hindsight I'm wondering if I missed out on a good opportunity to have him sign various other cards which aren't necessarily his.
Well, you can see some stuff on his FB account...People were also presenting signed Jace2's by him on FB...Each their own I guess.
On a side note, I'm finally getting my signed playset of original watery graves today (among other cards).
I'm slowly catching up to you Markers! (well, not really lol )
P.s. Congrats on completing the signed alpha set!
That's totally epic, and you're the god of Magic collectors as far as I'm concerned!
Thanks (still on its way, still not here...No reason to panic :))! And good luck with your collection! (be sure to post your stuff in the pimp thread...we feel lonely there )
Got a bunch of great signed cards
I was extremely hard to find those 4 but all the work was so worth it:
Finally got this playset together:
And 3 more signed Beta playsets (48 cards until I have a completely signed Beta Playset)
That Christopher Moeller's Sig.
Mister Garfield himself...Yup

Here is an example of a signed Painter:

And this means I finally finished another Magic set "Lorwyn". 14th set!!¨!
I don't know why the last scan I made today is backwards...I think it's an "imgur" thing and will be solved soon....
I hope you can still enjoy this I certainly can.

Interesting question. Why would that be of interest to you? Not in the US.
