I love Block Party! I've built 50 Block decks and we roll a D50 to determine the best of one matchup, or auction for them using these rules https://mtg.fandom.com/wiki/Auction.
Take a look at my Wild Pair deck for a Time Spiral Combo deck or my Time Spiral Sliver deck.
As for Ice Age, I reckon Necro is a winner! There is actually an Ice Age turn 1 combo out there, but the probability of drawing the cards to pull it off is one in a million.
Ahh Necro, how I have fond memories of thee. As the only format allowed to allow play with four copies of Necropotence it was a must. After a few months of tweaking this deck for my Block Party format, this is the build I have settled on. The deck is simple: Turn 2 Pump-knight, Turn 3 Necro > draw a ton of cards > ???? > PROFIT. The only notable cards in this deck is the inclusion of Infernal Darkness as suggested by Patrick Chapin to shut down non-black opponents. Other contenders include Gaza's Assassins, Void Maw or Icequakes depending on your meta.
Can I ask, if you were playing Block Party, which version would you play?
