Looks like it's time to play the "Will _____ Assassin Get Reprinted" game... because the ones that don't will get a temporary bump in price as the Commander players will start to scramble for the the older ones that have a lower print run and are from the older sets where finding them in SP condition are getting harder and harder to come by.

New treefolk-like creatures of the desert... Cactusfolk. Interesting... I just hope they don't get the treefolk subtype and get their own subtype. But since they did that w/ Selkies, I wouldn't bat an eye if they did (just be disappointed.

Do they finally made the enemy filter lands. Wonder why it took so long for this? Simple design.

I wasn't assuming tokens, hence why I stated "IF". Please don't make dense, oafish, mouth-breather assumptions like that.

Then that can also include morphs or anything else face down.

    What is wrong woth you?

Can you please add to the conversation and not just have a reaction?

Tokens have a name. It is usually the name of its type. So a saproling token has "Saproling" as a name.

It can't be blocked by face-down creatures however.

control deals combat damage to a player,
    investigate.

Feels like a great way to get a bunch of clues when you have an army of critters.

Pompous Showoff cannot be blocked by creatures without names.

This will need clarification, i.e. a proper name or like a token, which doesn't have a "card name"? If the first, why not say "by nonlegendary creatures," or if the latter, say "be blocked by tokens." This could also a direct translation and could be either of these options when brought back to English.

Again: People are gonna learn it wrong from there and parrot what it says.

Reading the rest of the article, I don't see any hint that they actually mean "Augmented Reality" and didn't just get the meaning of the acronym wrong (ARG in this context is supposedly "Alternate Reality Game").

You are pretty much proving my point by not questioning the article.

I just researched what was shared on the 5th... I don't see anything ether. But the author of the original article (you know how websites bite each other for content, no get's the credit they really deserve) poked and prodded an LGS owner and has let the proverbial cat out of the bag or got an "anonymous" tip or the latter, as you pointed out, is causing a subversion (which could very well be on purpose, corporate espionage and smoke & mirrors were a topic in the film Clue.

To honor the film, I do hope there'll be a "Mr. Body" as a card. I know a dead cook, a singing telegram, a dead cop and dead (whatever Ravnica's version of French would) maid would be.

Regardless, this banter of what is actually there and not actually there is deteracting from the reason why I posted this.

I guess you haven't been keeping up with modern technology.

And nowhere in the article does it mention any of that unless I missed a paragraph in the horrible formatting the site uses.

Why would you think that I don't know what Augmented Reality is when I call out many ARGs for being neither Alternate Reality nor Augmented Reality? It's not that recent a technology that you'd have to keep up with the cutting edge to have heard of it. Apparently it is just harder to not misuse the term.

I mostly blame the article. People are gonna learn it wrong from their an parrot what it says.

Who changed the meaning from Alternate Reality Game to Augmented Reality Game? In actuality many so-called ARGs are neither these days and I don't expect this time to be different. But a transmedia community puzzle can still be a fun experience, even if people don't get their terminology straight.

I guess you haven't been keeping up with modern technology. What do you think Google Glasses and a lot of the wearable contact lenses w/ heads-up displays are going to be integrated for? AR!!! Now when it involves a game, it's being called ARG. Keep up with the Jones's or you'll be left behind. There will (most like) be clip-on teach that is small and noninvasive that project onto reading glasses coming soon, they'll most likely clip to the side of the glass's arm, project to the inside of the lens.

If a pair of clear glasses are to be made usable for this, they should or will be made very black w/ one way view, ala Matrix. There can be other features, such as anti-retinal reading to avoid getting your retinas read while driving, so the driver sees blank screens but everyone else in the car will see advertisements. There is a whole new wave of vision/glass tech on the horizon, so keep an eye out...

This is going to be the most engaging pre-release ever. There is going to be an augmented realty aspect. Clues are popping up in cards, in art. Far fetched associations are being made. Outlandish ideas are already being proven to show real results. I wouldn't be surprised if WotC included geocaching and finding clues in the real world so everyone, from every country (or at least from America if travel costs are an issue). Nothing (in my mind) will be off-limits.

This is the perfect time to include some great prizes for the lucky ones who go out and find geocaching hidden prizes. Like you find the barcode/QR code and scan it in. If you are the first for a State, a county or a city, a prize will be given (like 30 small prizes per city, 5 medium prizes per county, 1 large prize per state and 1 grand prize for the entire USA. Scale up by 1 if countries of developed nations are to be considered). Just an example.

I'll up the ante with hoping for a reprint of Goblin Spy or Orcish Spy.

Anthrax and Alice Cooper both have songs about "skeletons in the closet." If anyone in either band or part of the crew plays Magic, I'll bet this card will come up in conversation. LOL!

This will be probably the only opportunity for them to make this creature and this creature type makes sense.

    Creature type: eye
    Look: Dick Tracy
    Card name: _____, Private Eye

Oh please tell me they took advantage of the opportunity and they have done it so! If not so Wizards, hang your head in shame...

Give it a sword of __ & __ that has pro red, play the new Judith (find a way to protect her also... or let her die if she's the Commander) and play a burn spell like Pyroclasm (I'm on my phone, so the mobile version doesn't have the same tools as the desktop version, but it's an iconic card, so you get my drift).
