Nov 11, 2021Mandy MK posted a message on Deck price should be a major discussion point when talking about Rule 0 for Commander.As someone who is new to the game (but my husband has been playing for many, many years) I kind of hate this idea. I honestly don't care about the "value" of my deck, as the cards are only worth what other people are willing to pay, and that can absolutely wax and wane. If someone wants to spend $1,500 on a deck, that's their business, and it's no indication of the strength of the deck, how it'll roll out, and the skills and abilities of the player themself. It just tells us what they believe their cards are worth and the popularity of that card amongst other players.Posted in: Commander (EDH)
