In this standard, if your on play I think its plenty fast. T1 this, opponents turn. T2 drop Luminarch Aspirant or Rally the Ranks and suddenly its a 2/3 that they can't block because they only have one creature. That's as good a 1 drop is its likely to get.
Watch, Wedding Announcement (a vampire-themed card) will end up being one of the better human aggro tools. I'm calling it.
As someone trying to force a human tribal deck into a standard that doesn't really support it... I guess I hope your right, but I think its going to be to slow, and occupies the point on the curve where aggro wants fewest cards and already has some really great options.
I agree. I'm also trying to force a humans deck in Standard, but because Jerren, Corrupted Bishop is one of my favorite cards in a long time.

This feels like removal designed for aggro. Say I'm using Adeline, Resplendent Cathar have lots of chump human tokens that I can sacrifice and force them to kill off some biggies allowing my remaining creatures to sweep through unopposed. I reckon any white aggro deck will be running this sideboard to deal with other creature heavy decks who go big and not wide.
I've just twigged, I reckon the reason they've held off banning Alrund's Epiphany is because of Thalia. Its why MaRo kept saying lets wait and see what Crimson Moon does to the meta.
I thought my old account was deceased so made a new one... only for my phone to recall my old account, and well I ended up posting with that one presuming it was my new one. Is it possible to merge the two? I've attached the link to the old account below:
I found that Rem just wasn't very efficient. He never turned a game which is what I need 3 drops to be doing. I had been using Adeline, Resplendent Cathar as a place holder as I'd opened a few in boosters, and realised soon after replacing it that I wanted it back.
I also added 2 extra Rally the Ranks as its an awesome card (in for an Ambitious Farmhand a Sacred Fire). My last change was to swap a mountain for a plains as I'd taken out quite a few red symbols and Adeline in particular is greedy for white.
I'm still working on my side deck but my current draft is as follows:
Curse of Silence and Reidane are primarily there to slow down Alrund's Epiphany - quickly becoming my most hated card. However I also bring in the curse against The Meathook Massacre. Flare of Faith is good against anything that runs red (so largely Izzet in this meta), or again against the Massacre. Three of the other cards - Absence, Burning Hands and Cathar Commando all help against the green aggro deck. White aggro decks tend to be a favourable matchup for me, so I've not really played with my sidedeck much to deal with them, but Burn Down The House is there if they manage to multiply out spirits very quickly. Obviously hits me quite hard too, so its very much a card of last resort.
There is no reason why a peasant can't be legendry. They give up their life to protect there home... basically Champion of the Parish (which, by the way is what I hope the powerful reprint will be) but as a legendry.
I'll be honest a legendry peasant is the card here I'm most excited for. Please let it be a powerful 1 drop!
Nice! I've gone in a different direction at least partly because I love Sunrise Cavalier (which I can't get over is just an uncommon!) and Blade Historian.

Interesting, that would fit with the flavour of eternal night!
