Not the worst problem to have...but did I just get two extra rares in place of two lands? Kind of makes this pack worse even with more rares? Anyone else see this before? Worth complaining to wizards for a new pack? Received a "riders theme" with

I'm sure others have experienced this, but after opening an entire set box I got 2 Jurassic park cards...wait for it...a treasure token, and a mountain. I bought the set to open with my son who was ecstatic about all of the regular dinosaurs in the set, but was really hoping to get some cool Jurassic park cards. What a disappointment, was I just unlucky or are they really rare and the lands/tokens are just going to be common? It sucks they even counted those as Jurassic park cards to begin with.
Took many years off and being back into the magic world for a few years has been hard to keep up with. Got me thinking about the possibility of this when wotc was teasing at major tlchanges to the game around MOM.
What are the chances that there will be a MTG 2.0? I mean this in a sense that they stop producing new mtg cards for standard, etc. A few reasons I started wondering about this are
1. Commander seems to be taking precedent with most play groups I come across nowadays and they have 26000 cards to choose from.
2.The reserved list causes issues
3.can't change the card backs for a more modern design
4. Overall complexity has hit a ceiling for alot of casual players and seasoned players alike. Extra decks, countless types of counters, etc.
Wouldn't a fresh start be interesting? Not saying it would be a unique game at all, but new mechanics/cards would be exclusive to mtg 2.0 and probably commander. Typing on my phone or would expand d further. Curious if anyone thinks this is even a remote possibility.
So I ordered this challenge deck, battle the horde, from tcgplayer a while ago and just realized I never received it in the mail. Somehow I missed the refund that was sent because the item was not actually in stock with that vendor.
Purchase price was $14.94 in November last year. So I decided I would purchase it again but was shocked to see the price on txgplayer is sitting at $84. Sales history shows the spike happened in December last year and there are quite a few sales $40 and up starting in March of this year.
Anyone have any idea what happened to cause such a price spike? Can find it fkr a decent price on ebay still, just find it weird and am thinking maybe a recent spike was caused by a set released recently but don't see how they could possibly correlate. The other challenge decks have similarly large differences in pricing but the hydra one has been 70$+ since I found out about them.

Purchased the call for backup precon and am trying to figure out why they included sliver tokens. I don't see a functional use for it in the deck unless I overlooked something which is entirely possibly, but was it just a reprint of the old token or has a different use in the deck? Got the Gruul Stompy 2022 Challenger deck for a really cheap price. After looking through the deck I was curious as to why they included light up the nightand not a single planeswalker in the deck.
Am I missing something or is the flashback cost entirely dependent on having planeswalkers in play, and if that is the case then why not include something else? Without the planeswalkers isn't the flashback of this card completely useless?
Hi, I was thinking of new card mechanics that I have never seen/heard of and was curious if they actually already exist.
Is there any effect that allows you to shuffle up (either by choice or randomly) the cards on the stack?
Similarly, is there any card that allows you to put a card anywhere in the stack you would like?
Not sure if I am being clear enough but curious if anyone knows of anything like this, I know the default rule is the stack proceeds as cards are cast, but I think it would be interesting to have a limited number of cards that override that rule
Thanks for the response and links, but unfortunately both seems to be showing incorrect versions for some of the cards when hovering. I know this is fairly particular but I actually want to match the exact type and number of each land down to the same artwork...as if I just bought it pack fresh and opened the deck. I think the easiest way to do that will be to watch someone opening one on video.
So when I first started playing magic Tempest was the only set I was able to find/purchase other than some ice age product (was on an air force base in Turkey at the time) and I remember always wanting to buy the tempest packs with a certain artwork on the front because they always seemed to have slivers. After getting back into magic over the past year, I decided to start acquiring as many slivers as I could.
My current goal is to acquire all of the cards for the pre-constructed sliver decks that have been released. Buying them as complete decks/unopened products is prohibitively expensive for me and I am not trying to get near mint of all of the copies...for some of the expensive cards I'm even OK with damaged/heavily played. I have completed the premium deck series slivers deck which was easy because they were all foil and have the symbol for that deck.
Can anyone help me out with the following questions?
1. How many preconstructed slivers decks have been released. So far I have found lists for the following, tempest sliver precon, legion sliver shivers, and time spiral sliver evolution. So including the premium deck, 4 in total, am I missing any?
2. How can I find out exactly what version of each card, down to the lands, was used in each deck? Some lists default to some random set for swamps for instance when hovering over the card name on the list. I could obviously look for a product opening video but was curious if there was another tool available.
3. For supplemental items like strategy inserts, original deck boxes, d20, etc, is there a good place to go for those sorts of items? Ebay seems to be the go to for packaging and inserts/rule books etc. But curious if there is somewhere I can filter for those sorts of items.
Was opening a zendikar rising black theme booster (lgs was giving them away) and it contained a moss pit skeleton black/green card. Is it normal for a theme booster to contain multicolor cards? Only ones I've ever seen opened had all the same color of cards.
I just logged in to the game this afternoon and got a screen with a message saying something along the lines "you have acquired the following cards" and was a random mishmash from several recent sets, with multiple copies of a few of them. Anyone know what this would be from?
Can someone tell me wheb exactly set boosters started to contain commander cards? Did this just start with Midnight Hunt? Quick Google search didn't provide an answer but feel like this has only been happening for a few sets.

I would love to know as I currently have nowhere to setup a real gameboard for spelltable.
