Hi guys, sory for the delay, and thank you for all the great imput! At first i had some trouble getting the missing pieces but finally i grabbed all except 2x Barkhide Trolls.

I lifted Loki's deck almost entierly, missing the Peatlands (Modern Horizon 2, is that you?) so really greatfull for that!

I played past wednesday with my friends and it was a blast, for me at least. :p No one expected the pounding to be so fast and so hard, im in love!. Neither of them have any sort of competitive deck, maybe the UR Delver tho its still budget (i.e. no Snapcaster) so its not really a fair comparison. This is what i have so far, the sideboard is a mess and is mostly filled with cards i have or want to try out.

I've taken no notes, but here are some random comments:

    - Never got to play and trigger Syr Faren once. He died to removal almost instantly so i pushed it to the SB after a couple of games. In goes Bayou Groff.
    - Bayou Groff was a fun card to play, i got a couple of them in some boosters and just threw it in here for the lols, and lol'd i did! Never got to trigger Strangleroot with it, which would have been ideal, but dropping a 5/4 on turn 2 left their heads spinning in more than one occasion
    - Tried Dungrove, but got countered the only game i draw it.
    - Vines and Aspect where never really clutch, nor i felt i needed them as a wincon.
    - Treetop is good and so unexpected!

After the first few games it was clear i was gonna have an easy night, so at the end there wasn't much need of sideboarding and just stomped my way through most of the time.

I didn't kept track of total wins, went around 6-1 against delver and 3-1 against goblins, both of which i lost after a mulligan to 5.

    Greetings from Argentina!

T.L.D.R: Help me rebuild this deck!

I have been binge-reading this thread (almost halfway thru, Pelt Collector just got released, YAY!) and the amount of passion and knowledge thats been pour into is nothing short of outstanding!

Anyways, i'm coming back to MTG after a really long hiatus (my last purchase was a Pummel deck from Prophecy, so you go do the math) and after a botched experience trying to build an Adeliz-Wizard-Tribal deck, i set my eyes back on green, after all its the color i started playing magic with all those years ago.

Long story shot, last week i snagged a really good deal on a prebuilt albeit a little old Stompy build. Here it should be:

I'm yet to get the cards, should happen this week, but i already know (and should i, after all this reading) of a couple of upgrades i need to do to bring this deck up to date. But before rolling the dough, i guess it would be smart to ask here for some extra advice.

The list i initially coined to send to my LGS was this:

2x Barkhide Troll (or is Dungrove enough?)
2x Scavenging Ooze (GY hate against delver)
4x Steel Leaf Champion (-4 Leatherback Baloth)
4x Pelt Collector (thought i should replace my EO with them, but after some reading seems 3/3 is better?)
    2x Inscription of Abundance
    2x Blossoming Defense
2x Ram Through (Been loving it in Arena)

My meta actually is non existant given covid restricions and the fact that i never played a FNM before. So im bassically left with playtesting with four other friends. They have an UR Delver Prowess with a *****ton of counters, a Red Goblin Token-machinegun and the other two are another mono green deck and a mashed-up Golgari that barely holds it together.

Given all that, what would be my best course of action regarding purchases and upgrades? Im not really on a budget, but fetches and Hexdrivers are really out of question. And i dont want/need to spend a ton of money just to trash my friends. FNM seem far away so its not a priority nor it will be for the next couple of sets, im sure. ALAS, i could also get away with a 60 card sideboard, but that's neither the idea

I don't have a potato, but if you made it this far im really thankfull!
