Combining her with say Guild Artisan and having Purphoros, Bronzeblooded out is insane, like cheat out Terror of Mount Velus, then bounce it back to your hand before sacrificing it. Soooo many potentially great combos.

So far the revealed Planeswalkers are Elminster in Blue White, Tasha Witch Queen in Blue Black, and Minsc in Red Green. The wiki thinks its a full allied coloured Planeswalker cycle, so that leave red black (most likely Strahd IMHO), and Green White (Drizzt as a Planeswalker this time).

Damn! Still hoping for a Jund-colored Ooze. Think I won't get it anytime soon. Looks more Simic/Sultai aligned to me...

More like Dimir colours, black blue, its most likely for the Mindflayaaaars deck.

    Two things:
    1) I may or may not add all the leaks from before today, depending on if I want to compute for where those showcase cards lie in the main set.
    2) Because this is Commander Legends, the counting for the precons is within this main set. If enough people ask, I'll add the 300+ cards to that list.

I for one am requesting that you include the precon cards please.

I'm going to kick it off by predicting Szazz Tam and the Lich Queen of the Githyanki (Lae'zel won't be the only Gith in the set). I predict the King of Gold Dragons will be in the set.

I predict this set will sell very well.

I predict at least 1 demon lord, Demogorgon, or Yeengu, or Malchanthet, or Grazzt.

    On a different note...

Does anyone want to hazard a guess on the Dominaria United Jumpstart packs possibly displacing/supplanting Theme Boosters? Or will these be in addition to Theme Boosters do you think?

There's an answer for ya in the WotC page.

Replacing Theme Boosters, fan-favorite Jumpstart packs let players new and returning alike mix, match, and enjoy the mayhem of unique themes with each latest release. Jumpstart packs in Dominaria United and beyond follow the original Jumpstart release where each pack is a hidden theme to discover when you open, and shuffling any two packs together is all you need to be ready to play.

They flat out say the Jumpstart packs are replacing theme boosters. Probably the easiest way to actually get them to sell, because they'll once again have exclusive cards. And the Jumpstart unique cards likely won't be found in Set or Collector Boosters, so there'll be another product for people to try and grab in order to get the mechanically unique cards.

Thank you for sharing, I did not see that article.

Now this begs the question will they all be Dominaria United cards in the Jumpstart "decks" or will it be a mix and match. My curiosity is piqued.

All the cards but 1 in the pact are from the main set, but 1 card per pack is a unique to Dominaria United packs, they can't be found in other products.

I will also note that future premiere sets will also get tneir own versions of Jumpstart, so you can expect Jumpstart Brothers War this hear too.

It's exciting to see creatures from D&D be put onto cards. Like look at Gith for example. This is the first time we'll see gith put on a card. I was ecstatic to see Beholder make an appearance in the AFR set. I wanna see more of that.

I hope Aasimar makes it in as a creature type as well.

I hate that people will gobble up all these garbage DND, 40K and LotR sets.

    Nom,nom,nom.

Also, why do you care what other people like?

Because they're being big mad children and if they can't like it, neither can we!

You (and many others) completely fail to see why people dislike this. Magic has always been a fantasy game. Boltguns, tanks, spaceships and the likes have no place getting mixed into a fantasy game. UB is an escalation of crossing a very undesirable line that started with SL. Since it’s a Commander product you could potentially be forced to deal with these themed cards whether you wist to or not because an opponent could plop them on the table at any given moment.

So this is not a matter of you not being allowed to like something. It is a matter of everybody being forced to like it or having to deal with it. If this was a stand-alone product not mixed into the rest of the game nobody would mind.

As someone who likes the D&D sets, which along with Kamigawa, Kaldheim, and Theros are my favourite sets, and who us intrigued by the Warhammer 40k decks & secret lsirs, I sympathize with you.

    Its killing your immersion.

If it mskes you feel any better I suspect 40k deck players will likely usually prefer playing against each other for their own increased immersion (and to avoid dirty looks) and the Forgotten Realms isn't too far off from MtG in flavour (argueably less outside MtG regular flavour then New Capenna).

I'm winning so I can be kind to the other side 0:D

How Many Themes Do You Think Jumpstart Set Boosters will have?

For example given that each pack has to have 19 of 20 cards from the regular Dominara United Set and 1 complete seperate Jumspart Dominaria only card, how many themes do you think the Dominaria United Jumpstart will have?

I'm thinking 10 Themes, alot less then OG Jumpstart or Jumpstart 2022, but enough to make things interesting.

Whale Bait is the set I'm least excited for this year, it will make tons of money, but still be as exiting as a dry fart, no new cards and no new story, just high value reprints. Snooze.

Dominaria isn't my favourite setting, but at least there is a story and new cards and characters with it amd the start lf a new story arc.

I'm mostly interested in how the Warhammer Decks do because I'm interested in the rumours that this is a test before WotC buys Games Workshop. I do know enough to hope C'tan is in the Necron deck and maybe some Demon Gods in the Chaos decks.

Honestly the by far most interesting part of this announcement is learning that Alchemy Horizons: Baldur's Gate is 250+ cards and realizing that the AH: BG art is a Tiefling Arcane Archer and likely an Arena exclusive card.

it seems unlikely that either double masters 2 or Baldur's gate commander will hit arena, meaning a huge dearth of new arena releases until dominaria united. perhaps we'll see khans remastered, or something? no idea.

July 7th Aclhemy Horizons: Baldur's Gste releses with a mix of CLB cards, altered CLB cards, and completely new digital only cards. Its straight to Alchemy amd Historic (including I believe Historic Brawl).

I think there is also supposed to be another Historic Anthology.

I don't know anything about warhammer 40k. Just want to mention, that the color distribution is all over the place. 3 of the Decks have black or blue, red has 2, white and green just 1. And both are in 3 colored deck... They mentioned that the decks will have a lot of reprints. I am not sure if at least the new cards will have some kind of colored balance what seems to be impossible with a mono black one (unless the 3 colored deck with black has non new black cards).

Seeing Aminatou surprised me a little. She is not specially expensive. If I am right all cards from double master should be reprints. Well there were some cheaper reprints in such products. So I guess it is okay.

Dominaria... Looks good. I am glad to see Ajani again. Dominaria will be important storywise this time. So more Phyrexians I guess.

MaRo explicitly stated in his blog that they're doing Commander decks and not an entire set of Warhammer exactly because Warhammer lore is not made with color pie in mind, so it's much easier to do a series of color imbalanced commander decks than an entire set to draft.

This is why they said they didn't just do a Warhammer 40k set like LotR is going a set, the setting itself is just too imbalanced to do a full set, but colour balance isn't as important in Commander Decks.
