Hey guys, sorry if this has been answered somewhere but after 2 hours of google search I can't really find an answer to my question regarding this Equipment.
I just want to know that when malefic scythe is equipped to a creature, but I have a creature in the battlefield that says "creatures with +1+1 counters on them get menace" will this equipped creature receive that menace ability due to malefic scythe having +1+1 soul counters on it.
The confusion I'm having here is whether it would be the equipment that gets menace if it happened to be a creature, or nothing happens at all because the equipped creature technically doesn't have +1+1 counters on it, but instead receives +1+1 from the scythe.
