According to Evan Erwin, insiders say it will be a tournament staple and is "ridiculously good". This is not within the original Mythic Charter but then again, after Walletslayer Angel, what did you expect?
I expect WotC to make me happy.
In any case, I don't think Baneslayer was a mistake. The card is amazing and I like it. I think that it should cost one more mana to balance it out, but that's neither here nor there.
I think they are doing well with the Mythics. There are obviously going to be some tournament staples, otherwise they'll all suck. Mythics aren't as difficult to get a hold of as people once speculated. This card already looks good, and I expect it to be better than I assume.
My opinion, people need to quit whining with the whole "Wizards said this about Mythics, and this, and this, and now I'm sad because I feel lied to."
WotC said that Mythics wouldn't be tournament staples. Define that how you want, but I understand it to mean that they are cards that, if you're playing that color, it will go in your deck. Now depending on it's ability, this could be that card, but a 1/2 toughness this guy is not difficult to remove and could easily not be played. Chances are, though, since he's red it'll be 1 toughness.
I couldn't find the answer to this anywhere, granted I didn't look hard enough, but are they going to release this on MODO? Or have they not said either way?
It's a shame Wizards would stoop so low as to reveal cards at such a ****** event. penny arcade is such an inferior webcomic. Hell, CAD ranks above them in funniness.
I do look forward to seeing what is revealed, however, and if it's anything the Rumor Mill hasn't already figured out by then.
Unlike this guy, it's great to see a lot of people supporting Penny Arcade and PAX. And it hasn't been mentioned, but Gabe and Tycho are great guys for Child's Play alone. One of the best charity ideas ever conceived.
Hmm, odd that they'd do spoilers at this Expo. I would think it would be a bigger event, or something Magic players actually cared about.
There are actually quite a few Magic players that frequent their forums. I am one of them. I like Penny Arcade, and PAX is not just about video games. And this is an event that's bigger than any Magic event. They get 40,000 people in attendance. I'm thinking WotC sees the potential to get a few people playing that didn't otherwise play.
Fodder Lauch is amazing removal and should be at least a 3 of. You can even sacrifice your enchantment to it, cause it is a goblin. So if all your creatures are getting killed, you have that enchantment to turn to because it'll likely not be touched by your opponent.
I was considering Path to Exile against early threats, but O-Ring was more for Planeswalkers, or to O-Ring an O-Ring against me lol.
This would be a case where I would side in O-Ring. Path is instant speed creature removal for as cheap as it comes (without getting it for free). With that being said, it's going to be better than O-Ring more often than not. About 85% of the time you'll be O-Ringing a creature and it's sorcery speed for 2 more mana.
Trust me, I think your reasoning is great, but I think the reason you have should make it a sideboard card.
And yeah, I agree with previous suggestion, Elspeth fits your deck perfectly.
Well since he said he's not wanting to get too much into Lorwyn, and this card is fairly expensive for a set, I would suggest Captured Sunlight. Yeah, I know. This card pales in comparison to Finks, but it gains life and gets a free spell. It's not a terrible card.
So far to me, it's a fairly insignificant change. There's never been a point in a game where I just said, "Man this lack of damage on the stack really makes this games stupid."
When my friends and I play EDH we still play with damage on the stack and mana burn still exists. Mana burn really helps control a lot of decks that can get really insane with the mana in that format.
Other than that, I'm pretty indifferent in the change. I don't think it's affected the game so much that it feels like a different game.
This would be awesome as an "un set" but not. Non-tournament legal cards that are just for fun and flavor of a setting outside the MtG multiverse.
But I don't know if they could do that since FFG (I believe) has the rights to Kingdom Hearts the card game and this could infringe on that a bit. Who knows?

Maybe he meant to type 15... which is still overpriced, but not nearly as bad. And if not, I want what he's smoking cause it's obviously good.
In any case, I think this ability could go on him:
Landfall - ~ gets +1/0 until end of turn.
But at a two drop and the ability to get multiple lands in one turn this could be way too overpowered, but it may be possible. Unless you add:
If this is the second time this ability has resolved this turn, ~ loses double strike until end of turn.
Actually Duplicant would probably be good since it's effectively removal on a stick and probably the best an all artifact deck will get.

Would it really? They all come in at the same time, so I don't think it will trigger the Baloth's ability. I could be wrong, though.
I don't believe there is a red one.

I also think that Soul Warden is a weak card. Would probably get rid of 2 of these at least and throw in 2 more Spectral Processions.
Deck looks fun, though.

Either way, I would love to see it.
Also, Profane Command needs to be Maindecked. Give all guys fear and get back a Stinkdrinker Bandit can probably be good game.
