Very good chance none of the legendary Slivers are in this set now (or any Sliver). How did they f**k this up with the Sliver Swarm precon? Would be like shooting fish in a barrel. I guess not.
For commander, is there a rule prohibiting more than one legendary creatures from being in the command zone at the same time? This isn’t applicable for the time being, more of a design space question on where WotC could go in the future. Like for example something like: “If this legendary card would be put into your graveyard, hand, library or into exile, you may put it into the Command zone instead. The ‘commander tax’ still applies.” Would that be possible?
Getting strong aggro vibes from Sliver Gravemother. Seems like they’ll go the route of Magma Sliver and give us a couple of Ward granting Slivers, maybe an alternative win Sliver like a Toxic Sliver.
All decent cards. The "legend rule doesn't apply" feels tacked on and kind of useless on Gravemother, considering there's only 5 other legendary slivers and only one of them really benefits their being multiples. Now maybe there's another legendary sliver or two in this deck and that helps, but currently this just feels like a "this is nice, I guess," sort of ability.
This Sliver, Sliver Legion, and The First Sliver benefits from a “the legendary rule doesn’t apply” effect.
I found out the Sliver Gravemother reveal independently when I randomly decided to Google “Sliver Swarm Precon deck” and I got Amazon’s site with Sliver Gravemother up on it, about an hour and a half ago. Looks neato! Any good reason why she couldn’t be 7/7?
I don't see why. It was legally purchased. I imagine whatever merchant/distributor that sent it out early mistook it for the standard MOM set. No fault of his. Not sure that he was legally obligated to relinquish anything to them.
Yep. If what he claims is true I would have told them to get off my property, they are trespassing and if WotC wants the cards back get a legal warrant to be served by actual law enforcement. The only "theft" was a private company stealing legally purchased material (albeit by mistake) from an individual owner. Shows you what Hasbro/WotC think of me and you (again if this is true).
I thought it was being staffed by dimwitted Chimpanzee's.
We don't enough of this story and who knows the actual truth, but I would really like to know if these guards were armed when they trespassed on his property. Again if true the only crime was perpetrated by the alleged Pinkerton staff and Hasbro/WotC.
Yup, they'd have to issue a court-ordered warrant to me to get those cards back. No Slivers in Aftermath, I can sit this one out too. I'm excited about the Sliver Swarm precon deck headed our way, I'm saving my money for that.
I don't keep up on stories, not in the storyline thread, or any where online except on what's on the cards. I obviously don't read the novels or other storyline elements WotC puts out. What ultimately happened to the Phyrexians, are they wiped out now? Is New Phyrexia cleansed and now Mirrodin again?
I don't see any reason this should be its own card-type and evergreen. It's not blowing me away. Tribal seems more noteworthy and they stopped doing Tribal.

Like this upcoming Masters Commmander deck.
